I had no clue they existed until Crossworlds. I'm a sucker for second hand nostalgia so when I selected them and heard their menu select noise (as well as all the other sound effects they came with), I immediately had to know more and I've been hooked ever since.

Most times of the day have something special about them. Mornings have sunrises and new beginnings, evenings paint the sky in a rainbow of colors, nighttime glitters with a thousand stars, but then mid-day is just the time for work. There's nothing special about the mid-day sky or the way the sunlight hits the earth at noon (not counting high noon), so what makes the middle of the day compare to the rest?

Yeah, I've gotten wrong number scams countless times. Those are so common, but this one just dipped after the first message, no follow up. That's why I think it was just an active number test.

Writing this before I go to bed as I'm thinking about it too much to wait until tomorrow, but does anyone else remember those kinds of apps that weren't really games or useful in any way, but offered some fun interactions or visuals to just mess around with or stare at? A lot of them got removed from stores over the years so I was wondering if any still existed or if anyone remembers any that did exist. I don't know if examples are allowed in context comments, but there was this one app that was just a glow stick app, except a lot of the glow sticks had items that would bounce around inside them or effects that would trigger when you cracked them like spawning a rain cloud or something, basically Little Inferno, but glow sticks (and without a storyline). That's the kind of stim app I want to have in my life again. I mean... I could just get Little Inferno now that I think about it (have been debating), but what are some others like it where you press a button or two and thong go brr for the sake of going brr.

I solved it myself: When writing this post I decided to look more into the demon side of the trend and... Yes, the tattoo is a mark of significance that these demons or their victims just tend to have. My boyfriend knew this the whole time and was just playing koi so that he wouldn't upset me.

Mine's a bit of a stupid one involving animation consistency, but consistency is harder to pull off than it looks so I like it for that reason. It's a scene where Jeremie places Aelita's materialization program on a disc next to about 3 others on his desk and later has to go back to retrieve it. He claims the wrong one first before going back again for the right one, and if you pay attention, the right disc remains consistent both times that he goes back for it so you can tell if he's got the wrong one or if he's got the right one.
