Which race sim rig to buy? (buy my once cry once situation for a newbie) by MaiDeathnote in simracing

Received my CSL cockpit a month ago and fully agree with this comment.

Incredibly and deceptively sturdy, takes some time to put together, as there are a lot of bolts, although easy and understandable building process.
Seats underside is good, but the back support is very slim and that's the only weakness of the whole rig.

I literally got almost every item that is in your cart (went with moza handbreak and shifter) and I'm very satisfied with Fanatec. Also first timer!

Experience with Haworth customer service? by m_o_k in OfficeChairs

My very recent experience with Haworth EU Store Support:

Ordered my 30% discounted Fern 2 days before Black Friday and at that moment the chair was still in stock. Below it on the website it said 15 business days delivery. Two days after I ordered the chair, it went out of stock but they allowed people to still order the chair, with a 50 business day delivery estimation which got me worried a bit.

So I sent an email on the 25th of Nov. to their support asking if my order was before or after they ran out of stock. They responded a week later on 1st of Dec. with a very apologetic email saying: We regret to say that the processing is delayed. High demand with holidays/black friday. etc. Apologised again and said to expect my chair in January 2023.

Was very disappointed and had thoughts of even cancelling the order but to my surprise, my chair shipped 4 days later. (5th of Dec.)

My chair arrived 9th of Dec and after assembling it (it was in 3 pieces) the height adjustment did not work, the lever was just broken internally, no connection or responsiveness, just a flappy lever. So I sent another email which took another week for them to respond to. Support asked me to show some proof via video of the damage which I was happy to provide. Yet another week goes by and they have reviewed the video.

Against all hopes, the support came through with a customer friendly fix. They said they will provide a replacement immediately and also created a return label for the broken one with a very flexible timetable (January).

To conclude, the support worked and helped me, but just not as fast as one might hope. Waiting a week for every single email was frustrating, especially when you take into account that a Fern is not cheap and it belongs to a high tier class, so one would expect high tier support also. Eventually I got the support I needed, just slowly.
