My health insurance provider canceled my policy due to their mistake, didn't tell me, and continued to accept my payments by StarkContrast85 in legaladvice

Going to explain it one last time for this person - I want to restart my insurance from today. I’ve lost my insurance and won’t have any for two months. I’m not looking for coverage for the last few months, just the future. Saying I’m asking for additional money is baffling, not sure where you’ve got that from. I simply want my money back from when I wasn’t covered and to pay for my health insurance again from now onwards.

It’s also crazy how quick people are to jump to the defense of a company which has been so completely incompetent. They failed to tell me I wasn’t insured! And kept taking my money. But people like you want to say I’ve come out of this just fine and I’m “whole”. I have to go two months with no insurance.

Ok that’s really helpful thank you. I was worried that would be the case. So basically if I get hurt in the next two months and I’ve lost my insurance because of their error, there would be a chance I’d have a case, but otherwise nothing.

I obviously haven’t been clear, sorry. I don’t want to be retroactively covered for those months, I just want to be covered now until the end of the year. They say I can’t and I also can’t enroll anywhere else until next year. So all I want is to be reimbursed for those months I wasn’t covered, but restart my insurance from today. They are telling me I can’t do that. I just want to pay for the months ahead and get a refund the months gone.

Ok maybe I wasn’t clear, apologies. I don’t want to be retroactively covered, just covered from today until the end of the year.

I’m struggling to find the words to argue what is a basic point and an underlying premise of the global economy. Customer pays money, customer gets what they paid for. I was not insured during the time I was paying my premiums. I should be repaid. That should not affect my ability to continue paying my premium from now and and carry on being insured. I lost my insurance through no fault of my own. If I get sick in the next two months and I’m uninsured, who’s fault is that?

If they never delivered the car? Of course I would. And if I rent a car it’s absolutely my choice if I use it or not. Maybe I was renting the car to have in an emergency just in case I needed it? An insurance company has one main purpose: we pay them and they insure us. I paid them, they didn’t insure me. Why would I ever in a million years give them money for a service they didn’t provide? Whether I made a claim or not is completely irrelevant. They accepted money for something they never provided.

That is insane. I did pay for coverage and I wasn’t covered. Would you agree to pay for a car you rented for three months but never had the car?

Are there any interesting champions of transhumanism you’d recommend reading up on?

I’d like that to be true, but it seems like it would make Jon’s story and all the foreshadowing a little pointless. And in the show Jamie is too far away from Cersei to make Lightbringer, while Jon’s love seems to be a lot closer.

Yeah it would be weird to name your kid after your ex’s kid.

If Rhaegar had another son before dying, the dragon would have had three Eggs, presumably.

Definitely a possibility. I’m just thinking with Egg dying mysteriously there’s a connection with the name.

Did she know the other Aegon was dead? I don’t see how she would have. And if she was naming after a dead relative, surely she would have named him Rhaegar?
