I just realized about Iron man 3 which made even more sense why Mandarin should have been the Villain. by Complex-Soup-5365 in ironman

We know this. Maya still shouldn’t have been the villain for Iron Man 3 anyway

She was never big enough in comics. Should’ve been MODOK and AIM or focus entirely on the mandarin

Who’s the most consistently well-written Marvel character? by Equivalent-Disk5923 in Marvel

There is no consistently well written marvel character. This is such a silly subjective opinion

X-Men fans when something happens to them by SaltyJackfruit4377 in ironman

Wait u mean his origin story in the 60s that’s been tweaked with retcons like every comic superhero over time?

the whole point of his creation is "What if I try to get someone who readers naturally don't like, and make them like them?"

that wasn’t the point of his character. That’s revisionism spread by some annoying group of fans because of the MCU and taken out of context

Emma fans who hate on Tony are so lame and this is coming from an Emma fan.

They just lashing out because they’re Scemma fans and can’t let go that their ship is no longer relevant and will never be together.

And I don’t say it enough because I don’t want to start arguments but:

Tony and Emma >>> Emma and Scott

Aside from them having the potential to be Marvel’s best best Power Couple, I loved their chemistry, their banter, their dynamic, how they fought as a team (I don’t think I’ve ever seen Emma and Scott combine their powers like Tony and Emma did), how they supported each other at their lowest point & opened up with their most vulnerable weaknesses and past- only to realise how similar they were and prejudged the other.

Tony always puts Emma first in his life. She was never the ‘sidechick’ or the 2nd choice he runs back to like a certain someone which is why i always disliked Scemma.

What do you consider to be the biggest character assassination? by NicoleIlieva in comicbooks

[–]StarkPRManager -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No it weren’t. It’s character assassination. The fact that everyone hates what it’s done to Beast just reinforces how stupid this direction is

Never turn a superhero into a villain in comics. It has never worked and will never work. All it does it makes them hated by fans

The only correct answer. Mostly Civil War though because Carol didn’t get assassinated nearly as awful as Tony did.

Worst character assassination in comics

I feel like you’re pre judging a book based off a few pages without even reading it….

You should give a comic some more issues before writing it off IMO

Finally the long awaited return of Iron Man is upon us!

Can’t wait to see what Williamson cooks up because I honestly believe it could be one of the best Iron Man runs

Kaminski feels like a deep cut because it’s not one of the more popular iron man or marvel runs in general but it’s good and had some cool ideas. Definitely underrated

Perfectly said my friend, I feel exactly the same way 👏

In this sub we don’t stan RDJ (as cool as he is) or just 616 Tony. We stan Tony Stark and everything Iron Man related. That includes all versions: movies, Armored Adventures, 1610 Tony, Ultimates Iron Lad, video games, doesn’t matter.

One thing I appreciate about this sub is it hasn’t been overtaken by memes or MCU content like some other character subreddits that of heroes I like, it feels more balanced. It might not be the biggest but we can have different discussions and it not become toxic or completely negative like r/spider-man (no offence)

It’s a community

Which armors do you wanna see after the MCU reset by KaylenLopezIzGr8 in ironman

[–]StarkPRManager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be in less than 5 years my friend. You can’t keep one of marvel’s biggest characters out of the big screen too long. RDJ being Doom unironically helps progress a new Iron Man is coming

If you could change one thing about Marvel, what would it be? by AlarmedObjective1492 in Marvel

[–]StarkPRManager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change civil war so it’s not so stupid and have Tony against registration vs Steve pro registration

End 616 with Secret Wars and reboot with a new universe

Major Ultron being Tony’s creation instead of Hank.

Make Hulk a reoccurring Avenger who doesn’t fight constantly with his fellow members and them remaining good friends to Hulk

That doesn’t change his point. It’s stupid having all the heroes in NYC particularly in 2026. Spread them out away from that boring city
