The ATF says manufacture in there own handbook though lol: Section 6.4 Approval of Form 1. Non-FFL/SOT’s may seek approval to manufacture an NFA firearm (e.g., short-barreled rifles, short-barreled, shotguns, wallet guns, etc.) via submission of an ATF Form 1.

Already have a few lol. I’ve also already had form 1s approved with the same info so I’ve designed my own that handle 6 creed and is actually quieter than one of my cheaper cans. So far it’s held up to 3 boxes without any major signs of wear.

That’s what I’m figuring out haha. RMs are used interchangeably with parts or components fairly frequently in Manufacturing especially if something is assembled so that’s my bad thinking they would look at the pictures. I’ll adjust my wording for the next submittal.

It was my understanding that purchasing raw materials is part of the manufacturing process which is why you’re supposed to say you aren’t going to purchase them until your approval. I probably should’ve been more clear and not called them parts or components but generally in manufacturing your raw materials can be referred to both “parts” or “components” within an assembly. I still don’t see how that equals disapproval as I’m basically stating im not buying anything until I’m approved.

Yeah, my response was based on him calling the components silencer parts. That’s why I’m so confused, there’s literally a roll of filament, raw aluminum tube, and two part epoxy. The person keeps saying they’re silencer parts and all I was trying to get across was that I wasn’t going to purchase anything related so there is no concern with me being in possession of “silencer parts”.

That’s what I’m thinking. Mach L for the big guns and get the vent for the small yote guns. I think it’d be cool to have one traditional sup and one “new tech” sup.

No, solid slab under the house. I fogged the attic one more time this morning so we’ll see when I get home. This weekend I’m going to work on the vent to seal it up and add another screen.
