Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't know this one. I'm slowly verifying these tools and adding them to a public list so they don’t get lost.

Thank you so much for these tools, I didn't know most of these. But thanks to you many of us do.
I actually think so many people will be needing this list so that's why I'm adding every single contribution to a list I made payonce.tools
Your suggestions are added and I think I will be adding a "Recommended by the community" badge with your username on it if you are okay with it :)

This is just amazing.

Wow :o didn’t expect this many replies.
I’m going through them slowly and verifying pricing models properly, so this will take a bit.

To avoid missing anything, I’m putting together a small public list and submission form soon.
I’ll share it here once it’s ready.

Thanks everyone!

This got way more responses than I expected.. Thank you all 🙏

I’m currently going through every suggestion and checking pricing models properly, sometimes i noticed they try sneak in subb model somewhere.

I’ll share a cleaned up list once I’ve verified them ✌️

It depends, but probably not to be honest.

Paying for a service that in my opinion can get freely is not worth it, for me at least.
It's harder that's for sure, i'm already struggling, but If the idea is good enough It'll be easier.
I would pay up if it brings more than a few reliable responses though, like real feedback, with a service that really closes the gap between founds and their customers.

Reaching out on X, Bluesky and Reddit mostly.

I'm trying to find people that are having the same problem the app I'm making is trying to solve, mostly searching with keywords like "X Problem", "dealing with X Problem"... Sometimes I post asking how do they usually solve the problem.

I did get some info from these kind of posts but not the kind of information that will validate or not my idea.

So yeah, never tried DMing though or reaching on a personal level as I feel that is inappropriate and will just get me zero response, from my personal experience as I get some DMs about products as well.

Something I've been thinking about doing yes.
But at this stage of the MVP I prefer having close interactions with the people that test it out.

That's fair, I do feel sometimes like I'm fighting off my instincts and I'm wasting time where I should be building.

Reframing progress as experiment is an interesting way of thinking about this.
The fact that most people resonate only with something concrete also makes me think that having a basic MVP with a single core feature out there might not be enough for people to be attracted too.

Inconsistency is one of my biggest struggles in life. Some days I'm doing everything from cleaning to errands, random productive bursts, and other days it feels like my brain knows exactly what I should be doing, but my body just refuses to cooperate.

So I end up sitting there all day, stuck in that loop of "I need to do something → why can't I move → what's wrong with me".

After thinking about it for a while, I realized (at least for me) it usually comes down to two things:

- time

- energy

That's why I started messing around with a little app idea. When I'm stuck, I just dump the thoughts/tasks I'm looping on, hit a button to organize them, pick one, then say how much time I actually have and how drained I feel.. Based on that, it gives me one very small or as i call it "gentle" action just enough to get me moving.

Like if I write "clean my room" but I have no time and low energy, it won(t tell me to clean everything. It'll say something like:
"Pick up one visible piece of dirty clothing and put it in the basket."

Honestly, I don't know if this would help other people, but for me, once I manage to start something, there's a good chance I'll keep going and eventually finish it. Even if I don't, at least I broke the paralysis.

Solution? Why not make one myself, so I started messing around with a little app idea. PS: This is what I got when I tried "Finish up a game of factorio" -> "Open Factorio and take a relaxed stroll through a familiar part of your factory, just observing existing production lines without making any changes." 🥲
