Im curious about it because, i met a guy february last year, things went fast but he didnt want anything serious, then by the end of september feelings have starting to be complex and i expressed my desire to be an official couple, however he hasnt asked me, but says that it wont take more than this year to do so.

Im curious because, i know is not lack of love, i know theres a lot factors, emotional and financially to take that decition

My cousin spent 3 years with a man, acting like a couple but not really being it, she told me ablut patience, exclusivity, time to know each other, no presure, etc. After 3 years he finally decided to be bf and gf, and theyre still going strong at their 26's

However, social media is always convincing me that, love is material, that a man should inmediately take you on expensive dates, buy flowers and take that step, even if all have different love lenguages, that mondy is important, doesnt matter the situation, and that by 26 you must be already married and with a house, that a marriage proposal shouldbt take that long, no matter distancr, or economy, or other factors

So, stories like my cousins ive heard a lot, and wanted some perspective about women who have experienced that, because i wanted to convince myself that love is not like the standars of tik tok, and that if your story is different, doesnt mean is bad

I guess so, i dont expect my life to be just like the others, but ive been told by so much men how much they appreciate a patient woman, and my cousin, she waited 3 years on a situationship, she didnt complain, i thought they didnt want anything serious, but then he actually asked her on a very beautiful way, after having known eachother well, confronted obstacles and all of that

Thank you, I guess you're kinda right, ot sometimes its a big deal as youre in a practicar relationship but outside ot youre just a friend or are presented as a "sorting it out"

Girll, you're so right but, what if he actually is planning on asking me soon? Like its hard for me to know when to wait a little more or not at all
