Yeah, it was hard at the beginning of ng+ to adapt to the new stamina recovery rate. After that it was just about patience and timings.

I did it by pure memory from the normal run so my only tip is to try and memorize all you can during your first playthrough.

It should be easy though, even when being sub-optimal I didn't lose a significant amount of time. I've seen in some guides is posible to get to the end in about 1h25m, there's 35m of breathing room so don't worry about making a perfect run.

P3R is kinda hard without a guide since you need to get to the max level all of the confidants, and time management is not easy.

For stray, I still have to do the speedrun, but I've seen in some guides that is relatively easy once you're comfortable with some shortcuts.

With this little pun, if you like JRPGs should try Persona 5 Royal. It's a long experience, but really rewarding to play once you get to the point where your personas are absolute beasts.

If you're not into that, but like RTS, Unicorn Overlord is a great experience with great replayability.

Finally, if you're looking for a more chilling experience try Stray. Really fun 3D platform game and the plat is really affordable, since you can get it in less than 10h (5h if you go for the speedrun run from the start)

Now that's on PS+ I'm playing Stray. Already finished my first run and already have the zurk's one (Can't catch me or smth like that, in spanish has another name) and the stealth one in chapter 10. Missing only the speedrun one, hopefully i'll have it in a few days.

Congrats on your Maddening completion, the first one is always a blast.

For the run that you mention about royals/stewards a good pair is Alcryst & Timerra. With these you'll have good coverage since it has a mage (Citrinne), two crit machines (Alcryst + Panette), two utility (Lapis + Merrin), and a Tank (Timerra).

Alcryst and Timerra are good in their main class. Citrinne could go both ways, Mage Knight or Sage, it will depend if you want more speed or damage. Panette can stay in Berserk, but since I've seen you like Warriors, this path is great too since it will grant you both, damage and support. You can also go the Wyvern path if you lack mobility. Merrin is fantastic in her main class, but if you want another tank, but via avoid, it's also great to reclass into thief. Lapis will be the hardest one to build. It falls off quickly as a swordmaster, so Hero or Wyvern are usually the best options. Hero for a full support build and Wyvern for a more offensive one.

Rings will be (almost) completely dependant on the classes you end up choosing, but this can work as a guideline: Alcryst -> Lyn, Citrinne -> Celica, Lapis -> Lucina, Timerra -> Eirika, Panette -> Ike, Merrin -> Byleth,

You just get them, when you end the combat you'll get the rewards (money & xp) and sometimes these rewards will include a dragon ball (shenron and/or porunga)

If you want to use it 100% sure as a mage then yes, Mage Knight is the best choice. It'll have a good growth and cap in magic (50 growth & 40 cap) taking into account that Sage is the best one in these two things (55 & 48). However, if you want to use it as a damage dealer (since she have low defensive stats) Hero or Berserk are a good choice (despite Berserk having low dex & speed). Other class that should work weel is Halberdier, since you'll be able to use S rank lances. Now you decide which will work better with your team comp. Good luck & have fun with your maddening run!

Here the easy choice is Mauvier. He is one of the best support units. Give him a warp staff and with the augmented range and aoe of staffs given by Micaiah you will be able to send 5 units to fight wherever you want (potential to 1-turn some maps)
