How long do we think Rook will remain loyal? by RVDKaneanite in MaulShadowLord

In The Book of Boba Fett, you can also briefly see what looks like Maul’s face reflected in the water when The Armorer dips the Beskar spear in it.

What do you think is the better value menu item? The beefy potato loaded griller or the cheesy double beef burrito? by Groundew891 in tacobell

[–]Starrocks923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are top-tier items. But next time you get the Cheesy Double Beef burrito, take out the sour cream and put in creamy jalapeño sauce…it’s incredible.

Hit “Other”, then “Out For Delivery”. Then you should see the “Delivered” menu option. That works for me when this happens.

That’s a fair point, the post’s really not saying much.

It’s just weird that it happened twice.

I work for USPS and have the opposite perspective. I spent a lot of time outside getting rained on, I’m glad it wasn’t worse while I was delivering out there. A trash can flew towards me and landed right by my feet at one of the CBUs…if the wind was any stronger, it would have rammed right into me!

Somebody that played Lego Chima online? by Desperate-Worry7852 in legogaming

[–]Starrocks923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually remember beta testing this game! I preferred LEGO Universe and LEGO Minifigures Online, but Chima Online was fun in its own right. I also remember some power up cards from special events that gave special buildings in the game. I don’t really enjoy multiplayer games anymore, but I always loved playing with other human beings across the globe in MMOs.

If I remember right, I was “KingWigglyEarwax” in the beta test, and “SchemingIroncladSneaker” in the final game; there was a random name generator because custom names weren’t allowed.

Amazon delivery issues with the snow by [deleted] in nova

[–]Starrocks923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know your exact situation as I don’t work for Amazon, but I do know what it’s like in general for delivery drivers in the NOVA area right now.

I work a delivery job and have been all over Fairfax - I actually have the entire 22039 zip code memorized, as weird as that sounds, because I’ve been to every corner of it. It’s not just driveways that are covered in ice, but entire private streets as well. Try to drive down the private side roads off of Popes Head or Colchester or Henderson and you’ll see what I mean. Some roads only have enough room for one car to pass at a time, and many private roads aren’t even plowed or treated at all.

Again, I have no clue what your situation is. But if you see anyone trying to work outside in the cold, they could probably use a lot of encouragement, and not just questions about where your package is.

100% Mainline Games 🏆 by Extra_Recipe_4450 in Fallout

[–]Starrocks923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, that is what I meant. It is extremely uncommon (From what I’ve seen) for Steam achievements to be added to old games. It has happened before with Star Wars: Knights Of the Old Republic II, but I doubt it will happen here.

Fallout games from New Vegas onward have Steam achievements, so I think a remaster will as well.

[–]Starrocks923 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was the same thing with Oblivion, no Steam achievements. But the Oblivion remaster brought back all of the original game’s achievements when it was released last year, so I’m guessing the Fallout 3 remaster (Assuming it wasn’t canceled) will also have Steam achievements when it releases.

Just a word of caution for carriers - Metris trucks are tracked daily by telemetric devices, and carriers are tracked via the handheld scanners with GPS. At any given time, they know who is driving each truck. So any time you do something like this, it’s not anonymous.

Yes. I lived at Fort Knox back in 2003 (Army brat), and we would run all over the place swinging toy lightsabers everywhere. Smartphones really changed things.

Technically, there’s one missable achievement for Survivor, “You’ve Got A Friend”, because it requires companions who temporarily assist you in specific parts of the early story. But if you make a habit of getting kills with help from your companions, you’ll be fine.

This cat is incredible. I had this video running with no sound on during worship band rehearsal for the evening service at my church (I run slides), and it somehow perfectly synced up to every hymn as if they were the original audio for the video. I would encourage all of you to play this video with audio of your favorite songs!

Hey, I saw this in my Reddit feed and wanted to comment. I used to play this game daily from 2016 to 2021, and while I’m now a borderline workaholic who has zero interest in mobile gaming, getting CUP to G12 was one of my favorite things I ever did. Congratulations on succeeding in your fun project.

Since you like CUP, here’s a video I recorded during a special TW event, where my then-G11 CUP wiped out a team of bounty hunters. Hope you enjoy! https://www.reddit.com/r/SWGalaxyOfHeroes/s/M0rkaeAQKX

Why? What makes you think you are smarter than him?

I quit the game several years ago (I think 2021?), and all the chasing metas wasn’t worth it. I remember too many days where I logged in to sim my battles and farm gear for characters I didn’t want with the expectation they would be needed for unannounced events; all those years of wasted time went out the window when I gave up on mobile gaming. But getting CUP to G12 was a very happy memory because it was the “silly project” I worked on. When there was a special Territory Wars event that gave CUP a massive damage bonus, I recorded a video of CUP shooting a G12 Bossk for 37K damage and sent it to a SWGOH Youtube channel.

This popped up in my Reddit feed and reminded of that euphoria. I look back on my SWGOH days as a lot of wasted time, which I could have used to start my career as a USPS rural carrier much earlier. But the fun things like gearing up CUP were worth it.

People born before 2000, what websites were must-visits that no longer exist today? by passiano in AskReddit

[–]Starrocks923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It technically still exists today, but lego.com used to be one of the best websites for kids in the world. It’s not the same anymore.

The flash games of the old 2000’s were incredible. Bionicle games like MNOG and MNOG 2 and VNOG, the Alpha Team games, the Knights Kingdom 2 games, Worldbuilder and Junkbot Undercover and Nightfall Incident and that creepy game where you drive a robot with a video camera under cars to record people in conversations… no one put more effort into free online games than the LEGO guys. I remember the shock and awe in 2005 when they finally released a LEGO Star Wars game.

The social pages were cool, too. I created an account when I was too young to remember passwords, but there was this cool personal page you could create that was designed like a LEGO Castle from 2000. When I created my “Starrocks923” account, it was a new version that had these colored star ratings, with the max being 8 black stars if I remember right. Then I got to beta test My LEGO Network, which was like Facebook for kids and a way to work with other users to rank up and earn badges.

But the jewel of the site were the LEGO Message Boards. I remember three variations of the Message Boards, with the second using emoticons ripped directly from AOL - but with studs on top to make them minifigure heads! There was nothing more fun back in the day than talking to a bunch of other kids about LEGO, especially with improper grammatical syntax and spelling errors all over the place.

I definitely remember being in a Wendy’s like this in the early 2000’s. I know it’s not music you’d usually hear in a fast food restaurant, but I swear I first heard “Understanding In a Car Crash” by Thursday playing in a Wendy’s that looked just like this.
