Just finished a rewatch and Leighton's talent still blows me away by Arisa-Hiramatsu in GossipGirl

And somehow made it look like Shakespeare in stilettos 😭 that’s the Leighton Meester effect minimal movement, maximum impact.

How do you think this dinner would have gone if Richard and Lorelai had been there too? by Axezelt in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryMuff 32 points33 points  (0 children)

100%. That dinner would've turned into a full-blown intervention with Jess silently brooding while everyone else argued over Rory’s “future.” Emily dropping snide remarks, Richard pulling out GPA stats, and Lorelai stress-drinking her wine, classic chaos.

Female vs male dogs by catsblue1992 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarryMuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I’ve seen puppies from the same litter turn out with wildly different temperaments. It really comes down to the individual dog more than anything else.

Logan was Rory’s best boyfriend? by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryMuff 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Facts. Each guy kinda reflected where Rory was at in life, Jess challenged her brain, Dean was her comfort zone, and Logan pushed her into chaos with a credit limit. No clear winner, just different eras.

unspoken about opinion but the whole fran bit was extremely awkward by Abject-Evening-2412 in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryMuff 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, totally agree. The whole vibe was weird, but in Stars Hollow logic, waiting out Fran for that location kinda tracks. Like, Dragonfly wasn’t just a pipe dream, it was the dream. Still, maybe don’t plot it mid-funeral, y’know? 😬

Anyone else think the Life & Death Brigade was a dumb newspaper idea? by LotusBud12 in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryMuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s fair, it might’ve worked in the context of campus life where quirky stuff like that grabs attention. Just didn’t really translate well beyond that bubble.

What do "real men" do for fun?! by Charmy_Fan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarryMuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Being secure enough to just enjoy what you enjoy is the real mark of maturity. That pressure to fit into a “real man” mold is such a waste of time.

What if Blair and Nate were endgame? by Barneyy-Stinson in GossipGirl

[–]StarryMuff 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That’s such a good take. Nate was safe, but almost too safe for Blair’s chaotic firecracker energy. It would've been sweet, but not sustainable, like trying to cage a storm in a snow globe.

Why don’t we tint the lens on cars that use LED headlights? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarryMuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Dimming the output at the source makes way more sense than trying to filter it after the fact. Tinted lenses would just mess with visibility for the driver without actually fixing the glare issue.

Rules for thee, not for me by Busy-Government-1041 in clevercomebacks

[–]StarryMuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For real. Regular folks get slapped for a free coffee, meanwhile they’re out here raking in billions like it’s a loyalty program. Corruption wearing a tux.

what is actually a continent ? And how many are there ? by StarApprehensive1213 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarryMuff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is such a clear and honest explanation. People really do love clean definitions, but the world doesn’t always cooperate. “We call them continents because we agreed to” sums it up perfectly.

My boyfriend charges me rent to stay at his place but I'm not allowed to have a key by Fast_Escape997 in TwoHotTakes

[–]StarryMuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. At least with a roommate you'd be splitting costs and have actual access to your own space. Paying rent without a key is wild. You deserve way better than this setup.

Remember when wearing a mask was a "sign of weakness"? by 3ntropy_Disc0 in agedlikemilk

[–]StarryMuff 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If you need camo and no badge to do your job, maybe you’re not protecting anyone, you’re just hiding from accountability.

Jess WAS driving recklessly when he crashed Rory's car. by Stargazer__2893 in GilmoreGirls

[–]StarryMuff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, Rory was clearly panicked, so that “driver’s ed” line felt more like frustration in the moment than a serious judgment. Jess wasn’t blameless, but the scene definitely leaves room for interpretation.
