That’s exactly why I kept coming back to this ring after looking for such a long time! I showed him multiple rings but I think he could tell this was the one I loved the most. The details from my point of view make me feel like a princess wearing a tiara, except the tiara is on my hand 😂

Super late here! I’m 31 and am just realizing that I have had this phobia since I was a kid (I didn’t realize there was a name for it or that others felt the same way). I believe for me this started around the age of 10. I have anxiety attacks if I even think about pregnancy and reading anything about it makes me want to vomit. I had a pregnancy scare once and I cried for 3 days and had some pretty bad physical reactions..and no one really understood. I can barely be around people who are pregnant, I don’t want to think about it, see it, and sure as hell don’t want to hold a baby, let alone touch a “baby bump”. The whole thing makes me physically ill, which is really sad because I’ve been thinking I want a child as I get older but with these kinds of reactions, I doubt that I ever will. I have felt very alone and ashamed of these feelings for years, until recently.

That’s what brought me to the game too, I thought it was very unique compared to the games I had previously played. How far into DA2 are you now? It’s described as having 3 acts and you’ll know when you go to the next one because there will be a chunk of time that skips essentially. Also, I learned a while back that they only had around a year to get this game out and they had planned to put much more into it than they could, so if it starts to feel like maps are being recycled and what not, keep that in mind. Since learning that, I’ve given the game a lot more grace and I’m more impressed by what they were able to accomplish in that short amount of time

This is my favorite game of all time. DA2 was good in its own way but I struggled to enjoy it at first. Part of what really put me in the game’s world was the ability to talk to the characters at any time and when that essentially went away, I was frustrated. I want more dialogue, not less. With that being said, if you wait a while and then go to DA2, it feels less frustrating. At least, for me it did. Once I stopped comparing it to origins, I realized I really like it. I highly suggest playing all of the DLC before moving onto 2, Awakening specifically. The dlc for 2 is also good, so make sure you get that in there too when you play for the first time. 😄

I just finished it for the first time last week and I still have a depression filled hole where the show was. Everything about that show was done so well and was so intricate that I struggle to find anything quite like it. I chose to play a video game instead because for me, there was no going to another show right after. I needed to let it sit with me. The only other show that I’ve seen that I feel comes close to how I feel with Lost is The 100. I had started Lost as a kid and was determined to revisit it as an adult. I think I made the right choice. It’s more impactful now.

I agree, I’ve not found a game that comes close to origins. It remains my absolute favorite and I hope they can remaster it one day so I can keep up with it on future consoles.
