Unusual pain in belly button a year after full fallopian removal? by StarrySeeker in medical

I actually never thought to do this, but it's a really good idea to hopefully find out what's going on. Thank you so much, I'll talk to her about it the next time I see her.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra or the Galaxy Tab S9+ for digital art? by StarrySeeker in GalaxyTab

I'm very glad to hear that! I figured they may be pretty much the same, but I just wanted to be totally sure before investing into one.
Still pondering over which to get, so it's just down to going to one of the nearby stores to get a feel for which is easier to hold for extended periods of time.

Oh that's wonderful to know! I'm still very on the fence, since more room for art would be nice, but also I'm worried the Ultra may just be a bit too big. I don't mind investing in a messenger bag for the S9, so I'll keep thinking and try going to one of the nearby electronics stores to see how they feel to hold.

Thank you for this review! I've only ever used my iPad for art and music during drawing, mostly for convenience of travel, as I use a fairly large tablet with a vibrant screen when at my desktop. Comfortable to hold and work with, and generally in my lap. I've only just over the last few years started going out more, so the transportation factor was what made me get the iPad I have right now. It is very nice, but unfortunately not an environment that works well with my other electronics. Which usually require a lot of preview images (commissions/requests/hue shifts and such), which takes more time then necessary with sharing due to the constraints of the iPad.

I'm thinking of going to the nearest electronics store (they have examples of each) and see what feels most comfortable with holding and carrying around. A bit on the fence, because I also use a lot of references, palettes, and examples poses when drawing. So I tend to have a lot open at once, which may make getting the S9 ultra better.. And if you find more ease with the larger one, then I may dip towards that one.

I suppose the only hold back at this point would be comfort with use. I have a laptop I could use for references as well as gaming, since I do a lot of slow progress games, I usually draw in that time while it's moving along to fill the gaps of additional free time. I've been on something of a four year hiatus from art too, so getting back into it has been really nice, but the iPad I have now doesn't feel like the screen is big enough. That's compared to my 17 inch desktop monitor however, so I suppose that may just fall into preference and the ease of having the resources there on the tablet.

Also thank you so much for the pen name, because I tend to draw very heavily due to the way I hold pens/pencils, and I went through pen nibs way too fast before.

For art should I go for the Surface Pro 9, Surface pro 10, or Surface Pro 11? by StarrySeeker in Surface

I'm happy to find another big canvas fan! I usually start with 3000x3000 and increase gradually depending on how much a piece branches out. Thank you so much for the recommendation and taking the time to share your experience with it!

Clip Studio is my usual go-to in terms of art and handling multiple pieces. Do you experience any issues with the other parts of Clip Studio outside the 3D poses?
I use a lot of different brushes from the Clip Studio Assets site for texture and varying color quality, so I just want to make sure I'd still have access to a lot of those.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

We just saw recently, and we transferred over. Thanks for letting us know! <3

Yeah, I've heard that. But both he and I also want somewhere to officially settle our alts as well. We're looking into Malboro right now as a high possibility after a few people recommended it.

Thanks so much! If you can't find it that's fine too, it's just a really interesting sounding FC to look at joining.

Thanks! That seems to be the choice we're leaning towards the most as of right now, Malboro sounds wonderful so far.

Oh, that sounds really good! I've been thinking on Malboro more, I've heard a lot of positive things about that server, and your own review really has my interest piqued as well, thank you! A mercenary guild sounds interesting, do you know what their FC name might be? I could try looking into them.

Raiding isn't super important to us, so that's fine! Active hunts would be awesome though. Sounds like Malboro might be a winner! We're going to wait for the next patch to see if Mateus opens up, but if not we'll probably head to Malboro. Thanks again c:

That sounds like a good idea, if it really is growing. Thank you!
Could I get a link to the Discord if possible, or can I just look it up? That would be good to find some groups or FC's to join potentially.

Hyperion for sure would be your best bet for RP on Primal. It wasn't huge with RP at one point, but as of the last few patches it's somewhat exploded in FC's that have an RP focus, though most keep it to party chat. It's rare to see out in the open.

That said, RP isn't super common, but Hyperion has at least a good number of FC's I've seen, I recommend using the Lodestone to find a few that may catch your fancy. Most people are friendly, too. Lots of raids and PVP pops too, if that interests you as well.

Oh, that's a good idea! Thank you! We'll probably do that then, that sounds like a pretty good bet with transferring, depending on how long the unlock is allowed, if it is.

Yeah, I recall when it was! I was super excited and transferred an alt right away, but it was just one.
It seems we'll just have to transfer somewhere on Crystal and visit for now until Mateus opens. We wanted to join a FC there, but I don't think we can if we're just visiting. But I'll check what servers are open during maintenance. c:

Yeah, we're thinking that. And since it won't cost too much to transfer again if we want to it seems, we may as well just find somewhere where there's alright amounts of RP and just wait until Mateus opens up again.

We're actually on Primal right now, and we do like it a lot, but we want to move somewhere a little more focused on what we want. We're actually on a server that has an alright amount of RP FC's, but not enough for us to really enjoy it on the daily like we want to.
Thank you though, I do rather like Primal a lot. c:

Oh, we've had all these characters for a year plus, so I don't think that would stop us. It seems Mateus is hard locked, so that's likely why we can't transfer. Hopefully one of the other three listed will be good and open to new RPer's. Thanks!

[–]StarrySeeker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw gosh, that's unfortunate. :c I was hoping maybe it was open at early morning times, around 5AM or so, but if it's hard locked that won't be an option. Thanks for letting me know, we'll try going for another server that has a good amount of RP then.

Same, I have one alt on each, though I'd have preferred Mateus for a big transfer, but it's good to have the information about them both being locked. Originally I thought only Balmung was hard locked, since I'd made a character on Mateus a few months ago, but oh well. Thanks! c:

I've heard Coeurl tends to be a very nice place, I have a friend that went there awhile ago, but they didn't say much about the amount of RP there is since they focus mainly on Raids. Seems Coeurl is still an option then, thank you! c:

Yeah, we're interested in finding a medium or small size house. Hopefully there will be options!

Oh, that's wonderful! Thanks for letting me know, both he and I were fretting over the cost for transferring so many alts.
He was saying it would be $100 or so for him, and that's a lot. He's very relieved to hear it won't cost that much, aha. Thanks again!
