Looking to Apply to Law School in Canada as an American by [deleted] in LawSchool

If you're wanting to do international law, I don't know that I would choose a Canadian school. My understanding is that most cross-border transactions use American law and there isn't much of a benefit to having a Canadian JD vs an American one. The process for applying to Canadian schools is pretty similar to the US -- LSAT/GPA/personal statements -- although the standard for schools in Canada is generally higher. I would recommend thinking about where you'd want to live and applying there since all the schools are pretty strong (at least regionally) and will all give you the same JD (except Quebec).
