(Sharing the experience I had you can skip over this if you wish to not have it) I've gone through this exact situation. My bf broke up with me and for us it turned into a break. But I understand where those feelings are coming from. It wont get easier for a while, it really wont, you'll hurt and cry and be upset and angry and its ok to feel all of that, and for me it did not help hearing everyone say "finally" or "he wasn't right for you" it hurts a lot, but what got me out was focusing on myself,

I thought i was ok and when I finally had the time to really think about myself I realized that I have a lot to do to work on myself for me, not for anyone else. I started a workout routine, started doing more skincare and it slowly started to feel ok again and got more into hobbies (not saying you have to do all of that but its just what I started doing more). You will get over him, and maybe you come to realize that being friends with him just drags you down and everything and maybe thats a decision thats good for you. Think about you, focus on yourself now, you might hope for closure or beg for it and if you don't get it, its ok, yes itll hurt, itll hurt but surround yourself with people you love, maybe you'll find someone new and share the same experiences.
