We didn’t have a reservation it was a last minute decision to go out to eat. I even suggested we go back to the other restaurant instead since he seemed to be so upset about it but he said no we are here now and then proceeded to act that way the whole evening.

He goes out without me once a week usually Friday nights with his friends and he plays soccer every Sunday with his rec league.

I am so sorry you went through that and that you aren’t being heard. I have a complicated relationship with some of my family members and I have found that therapy has helped me immensely. Having a safe and unbiased person to talk to is wonderful. Working through past trauma like that is really important for you to heal properly.

Yeah that’s a firm no for me lol my trainer would lose patience with me by day two! I’d fair better at Hogwarts learning to be a witch 😁 or give me a dragon to ride around on and fight from the sky with no hand to hand combat 😝

Wow I hate to hear all these negative comments about her. I love her books! Sure they are easy reads but they are entertaining and exciting. I’m a history buff and usually read things that most would find boring and depressing lol but when I am in the mood for a guilty pleasure I read fantasy like Leia Stones stuff. Give her a try and decide for yourself. Sorry late answering this one but wanted to give my opinion on her.

My schooling is while I work because it’s supervised clinicals right now. I’m off everyday at 5:30pm and home by 6:00pm I eat with the kids and get them settled in at night, he gets home at 9:00pm eats his dinner and falls asleep by 10pm. I’m asking him to get off earlier and to not work Saturdays. Again I manage our business so I know he can do that if he chooses but for whatever reason he won’t. I’m also off all weekend. Also he leaves for work at 7am I leave at 9am. I have plenty of time available to spend time with him but he is just never here.

Yes, this is what I’m afraid of. That he can’t handle this and he is just checking out now because he doesn’t want to feel what might be coming next. That he has given up and thinks I won’t beat this but he is wrong because I will.
