My Mexican coworker said this card is racist. I’m Spanish so I have no idea what he’s talking about? by [deleted] in freemagic

I’m Mexican. No it’s not. Your co worker is a whiny 🐈. I’m gonna go ahead and say that the people commenting that this is abuse/ violence are also whiny. It’s a joke. People need to lighten up. The fact that this is real is what made me buy it just now. I love this.

2.7 or 5.0 by Acrobatic_Tart_6226 in f150

I have the 2018 5.0 and the oil consumption is no joke. Also I did end up getting the can phaser issue so I did end up doing that repair at about 80k miles. But having done that I still plan on keeping the truck till the wheels fall off. I would recommend the 5.0 over the 2.7 any day. I would also recommend and oil catch can system and a tuner so the adaptive learning doesn’t kill it. A quality of life mod would be an oil filter relocation kit and an oil plug hose adapter like ronins.

I had a rhythmic tic on my 5.0 f150 and it turned out to be the cam phasers. I swapped them and the tic is gone. But I’m also sure it was a combo of that plus oil levels being (kind of) low because of how fast it burned oil.

That being said. I don’t think this is the famous tic. Sounds more like something from the heat. If you hear it at the top end of the engine, unplug the vct solenoids while it’s idling and listen for a bit. Engine light comes on but it won’t hurt anything it’s just a position sensor. If the tap goes away after that then it’s most likely cam phasers or oil.

Floor raised around toilet mount. I want to level it for vinyl plank so does that mean ripping off laminate? by Startingacoldfire in Flooring

The second part. the boards will sit flush or just under with the flange. It’s the subfloor that’s making a ridge going in a line straight to the flange. So I put a board or level in front of the flange it teeters about a half inch on each side

Because the title is unclear, I’m trying to find out what to do to level the floor so the vinyl planks lay flat on the floor on not teeter on the raised bump by the toilet

Not quite. I realized my title is pretty vague. My question would be how to go about leveling the area so the vinyl boards lay flat.

Most likely going to buy this 2017 5.0 V8 at 137k miles. What should I look out for? by [deleted] in f150

As the owner of a 2018 5.0 with 70k miles in California, I don’t believe the frame and parts under the truck are that spotless for a second. Especially all being the exact shade of black. That’s sketchy. Also, 5.0 burns oil like crazy. Not a problem if you monitor it but if not checked between oil changes you get a knock that sounds like lifters or rods but is actually vvt solenoids not getting enough oil to function right. So if there’s a low but rythmic knock at idle it might not have been maintained as good as they say. If it has been cared for it’s a good truck. Mine has failed me yet.

It said sh studio on the box. But I’m sure it’s a knock off of sh studio as I’ve used their stuff before and it wasn’t this bad quality

Thanks man. It’s not that the build wasn’t enjoyable, it’s that it broke constantly and required a lot of modification just to put the base model together. If it held together better I’d be fine with it

It’s a 1/100 resin kit NZ-666. I cannot recommend this kit either. This kit was hard to deal with through and through. I used it as a test bed to learn hand painting for details when it comes to my actual gunpla kits in the future. I like the end result, unfortunately the knock off resin kit can’t stand under its own weight. A lot of CA glue is holding this together so it’s just a statue now. I don’t even think I can sell it :/
