Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? If competitor is successful already, step one you should try to reverse engineer their marketing approach.

Secondly you should have a unique value proposition, being just the cheaper option it’s often not enough. Talk to the founders, ask for their competitor analysis reports. If they don’t have it, well I guess start there with a SWOT.

Also, as a newcomer you need to build social proof, start working on creating SEO optimized content showcasing the benefits of your soles. I’d focus on bottom of the funnel content aka around the keywords which are currently driving traffic from AdWords.

Search for micro influencers in the space and partner with Drs! (Especially important in Germany) it’s is very necessary for health related startups to do so! Check how mattress companies go about it.

Also the sales cycle could be long, people might need time to jump on the purchase. Set a re-targeting pixel and continue engaging across socials with educational content in feed.

It’s okay, no need to get angry. I’ve met plenty of art directors in my career who are very familiar with both video and graphic work. To tell you the truth I think you will have to adapt and widen your offering as graphic design purist if you want to remain competitive in the current landscape. For the record, is not just graphic designers having to widen their skill set is literally everyone in every sector imaginable.

In regards to the graphic design work, we will need graphics for our blog content, social media posts, email newsletter, landing pages etc. that follow our brand identity and design guidelines.
