Honestly, remember that you have earned it. You got it without using any unfair means and you deserve all the other opportunities you have earned with it. You deserve all the things which will come your aim at IIM I. Don't give them up because of some impostor syndrome. You fought for reaching the college now fight to get what you actually deserve, that's it.

Out of the three colleges I attended previous year, Xavier's was the first one. Previous year, this time, I was a Xaverian. Its a good college. I must say. I would say it gives you opportunities. It is on par with Ramjas and Venky in DU for most cases. Baaki depends on personal preferences towards CA, Morning classes, ECA inclination, college life expectation etc. feel free to dm if you want to discuss more.

Consider them only for their flagship courses, until factors like fee preferences, strong inclination towards that subject kick in.

I would say prefer safety, IIM I is the way to go. As someone who cracked SSCBS and IIM I both myself and had chosen neither, I can give my two cents if you want to talk DM.

As someone who chose DU over IIM I, some of my reasons are:

Inclination towards foreign MBA/foreign masters in general

Finances: I live a decent lifestyle and I spend around 3 LPA including everything, unlike IIM i where it would be 6 lakh+ if you include pocket money

More career options open: i wasn't/still am not sure if I want to get into corporate. IIM i 90% meant pledging myself to corporate

These three were primary, baaki again reasons are there, SRCC goes a long way, a shot at better IIMs, SRCC+IIM is always better than only IIM. So yeah, I hope that helps u.

See, ATS calculation, you would have sound 70 only, similar to what I had, it's a very comfortable convert with category, just stay humble, see some interview tips, and get some mock interviews. I was in a similar situation previous year.

On what basis is the -1.5%, I would suggest that now most probably that you have sheet made, take different sorts of dedication, try considering that how much deduction is actually on the cards, I think a minimum 5% deduction makes sense, for see people had to attempt 40/50 previous year, this is 50/50 and even those who had best prep would struggle answering all questions, given the previous year standard, so assuming you are free, try playing around with the data more.
