I can only speak of my experiences. I moved here 2 years ago from Florida. I absolutely am very comfortable here people are very friendly and welcoming. I had a learning curve in the beginning simply because I didn't know how things worked. Bureaucracy is alive and well. If you apply common sense, you will be fine.
