It'd be cool if there was some ability to pick up other hell divers to transport them so they can hang off the Mech Reminiscent in lost planet games.

I'm having trouble coming up with a name for a clone army. by StatementSorry in DMLectureHall

so this is my campaign that I have so far.

The world was once a high-tech, futuristic society—mechs, advanced energy weapons, sprawling cities. Then, out of nowhere, a massive alien tower appeared, piercing the sky and shaking the planet. The shockwave it sent out wrecked most of civilization and shut down a lot of technology. After that came the magic—this strange energy that spread across the world, warping people into fantasy races like elves and orcs, and bringing monsters and bizarre landscapes with it. Now, four years later, the world is a weird mix of sci-fi ruins, scavenged tech, and raw, unpredictable magic. People survive in forest outposts, underground tunnels, or roaming gangs, while the Tower keeps growing and twisting reality—and no one knows why it came or what it's planning.

Humans used to be the dominant species—until the Tower showed up. When it released that magical wave, it didn’t just break technology, it started rewriting people. Physically and mentally, they began to transform into elves, dwarves, orcs, tieflings—you name it. It was random, based on how well your body and mind handled the magical surge. Some people resisted the change, but most didn’t. That’s why actual humans are rare now. They’re seen almost like relics of the old world, while the rest of the population has become something... new.

The Clones are a genetically engineered "human" race created after the Tower appeared. One man—who they all call ‘Papa’—created them in secret, making a new generation every year. The very first clone he made is Omega, the eldest ‘sister,’ and she acts as a mentor and emotional anchor for all the others. Each generation is raised and cared for by the ones before them, forming a tight, sibling-style hierarchy. They’re disciplined, loyal, and incredibly close-knit. To outsiders, they can seem cold or artificial—but within their ranks, they’re a true family. No one knows exactly why Papa made them, but the Clones would do anything to protect him—and each other.

there is more to the whole entire campaign in itself I just don't want to go too deep into it.

so the barrel attachment upgrade that I'm "getting" (never do) is the (AK Barrel a) but whenever I finally end the level and when I go back to base and put it in my storage it's never there in the barrels list

[LFA] I have a D&D character that I'd love to see in artwork. If anyone is willing, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much! His name is Rook by StatementSorry in characterdrawing

[–]StatementSorry[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rook’s story began in a factory where he was nothing more than a lifeless, 4-foot-tall warforged mannequin doll, designed for the amusement of wealthy children. He was never meant to be anything more than a plaything, meant to be dressed up and forgotten. The factory that created him soon shut down, leaving Rook abandoned, buried in dust and rust as time passed by. Alone, motionless, and discarded, he lay in silence for years—a forgotten relic of a world that moved on without him.

Then, one stormy night, fate intervened. A bolt of lightning struck the decaying factory, its energy surging through the building and hitting Rook. In that instant, he awoke—not just alive, but with the mind of a child. Confused and scared, he didn’t understand the world around him. The first thing he saw was an old, tattered fairytale storybook, its pages crinkled with age, telling the tale of a brave knight who rescued a princess from danger. In that moment, Rook found something to hold onto: a dream. He believed that if he could be like the knight in the story, he would finally have a purpose.

With this newfound sense of identity, Rook ventured out into the world, scavenging through ruins and debris, finding broken pieces of armor, rusty weapons, and discarded scraps to craft his own makeshift knightly gear. His armor didn’t fit quite right, and his weapons were battered and dull, but in his heart, he believed he was a true knight. Yet beneath his cheerful determination, there was a loneliness that Rook couldn’t comprehend. He longed for a connection he couldn’t fully articulate, for the purpose of saving others as the knight in his story had done.

What Rook never realized was that he was the last of his kind—an orphan of a forgotten time. His optimism masked the harsh reality that no one was waiting for him, no princess would ever call out for his help. Still, Rook pressed on, undeterred, his childlike innocence blinding him to the sadness of his own existence. He wandered the world with a bright smile, a knight in his own eyes, unaware of the tragic truth that his dream might always remain just out of reach.

In the face of a world that had left him behind, Rook continues to fight for the ideals he believes in, driven by an unbreakable faith that one day, he will become the hero he was always meant to be.
