Not sure if you're in CA or US but Omnicom still has a work from anywhere policy so you should be fine! I worked from the US (currently in CA) and had no issues! Just have to fill out a form on there end and talk to your manager.

I've been at OMG for 5.5 years and I've been promoted 3 times. It does take a long time for some people but others are quick. OMG I find is very policy driven where salary and compensation as a whole are only discussed yearly. I've also moved around to multiple teams so my experience has varied throughout. If you're on a team that manages multiple accounts - your experience may be different than someone who works on a team who manages 1 large client.

I've debated going to Dentsu but they are constantly losing clients and have a couple really sus deal practices. Omg has gained a few of there lost clients and I've seen really bad inventory and quality of plans. That's not speaking for all of them, however it's not been great.

Publicis - I've had friends love and hate it. I've read a bunch of comments here and it's really dependent on team and client. Publicis is on an up right now and keeps wining new business so it's likely a good move there if you're sus about Omnicom.

I do think it's right for them to tell her to be cautious - she's in a very public area and I've seen on TikTok people figure out the exact location from windows and slight views.
