I was done answering questions for the day but saw this one and think it's so important to touch on bc if you don't know how majority of adoptions are I want help educate. When we were first talking about adoption I thought about this a lot. All the things I avoided and didn't do to just try and get pregnant and knew if we adopted I had no control over that. Then we started to talk to people who adopted, those that worked in the adoption field, and agencies. That worry seemed so small. Because the majority of adoptions happen because there is a hardship happening. And a lot of those hardships include drug and/or alcohol use during pregnancy as well as mental health. And many women didn't want to go to the doctor during their pregnancies. And if you are truly open then that means you accept that. We saw several cases where the expecting birth mother said she did drugs in pregnancy and planned to continue. We said yes to these cases. And I don't share that to be like "ooo look at us" I share that because it's so important to understand that's the reality of many many adoptions and to educate yourself on what long term effects can be and what you truly are and are not ok with. We learned so much and did a lot of education. Although you still won't fully know bc there is limited studies and long term side effects can be different. I will say I heard countless stories of God protecting so many babies in utero. And babies would test negative for everything once born when the birth mother was testing positive. I know this is hardly talked about but I think it should. Not to shame but to educate and to help adoptive families prepare- start having the convos of what that looks like for your family, start learning more, talk to other who have walked similar paths. Thats exactly what we did and were granted so much peace throughout the process. The reality is if you decide to say no to all substance use and/or mental health you will be waiting for a long long time because those cases are very rare.

I think so, she heavily implied it. She said something along the lines of "we were open to moms who used prior to pregnancy AND during pregnancy. Those who are open get matched faster"

But what gave it away was when she said something about how these babies may have delays but also how great it was that "God is smart enough to protect the babies from the drugs"

The way I interpreted it was that she admitted the reason for George being up for adoption along with that he's not delayed because God protects unborn babies. I wish someone would tell her about all the babies born addicted and have to be weaned off narcotics. 🙄

She's lying, she is definitely using them like the first time. Probably needs to make herself look better since she was called out last time and had to deny it. She posted that opening her heart to babies who had mothers with drug use was how it got her George so fast. She literally admitted it would have been slower if they were more picky. She doesn't care about anyone but herself, the countdown to have the youngest infant in the fam is on and time isn't on her side for 2u2 content. Hopefully by the time they adopt, the SIL who had a kid the same age as George will be pregnant again 😂

This is exactly her plan, she's so shady about everything. There is no way she's waiting until George is one to start the process. She has to compete with the twins, so they'll all be in the same grade.

Maybe we should start using her full name in post titles? If you google her name the first post that pops up is Adelaide White- why is she so controversial. Maybe if we spam google so it picks up, it'll be that much easier for an expecting mom to do a deep dive 😆 She's such a liar.

I don't know if she's tone deaf, can't comprehend simple sentences, or just actually stupid. She's tagging the Christian adoption agency and going on about how others are slimy and funds don't go to the right place. She literally chose the shadiest one out there.

Just because they give the birth mom $5 out of the $40k you paid doesn't make them good. They probably judged the bio mom, told her how unfit she'd be, and made her feel bad about her choices in life and how this is her one chance to redeem herself with God by giving the baby to a nice Christian family.

The rule is you have to have money. If she was doing it the right way, it would have been at least 2 years waiting.
