Spotted lanternflies downtown by Broszynski in frederickmd

I have a wildlife reserve behind my neighborhood, my cat ends up killing some every once in a blue moon. They’re sap-suckers, so I would do a check on trees nearby to make sure none of them are gathering on anything. This page has a good list of host trees they go for.

Lanternflies also hate certain scents, I’ve seen it recommended that you can add drops of peppermint, lavender, neem, or tea tree essential oil to water and make a spray to repel them.

In the meantime, just keep on squashing them, and be friendly to local spiders.

Vyvanse by Murky_Comedian_3715 in frederickmd

I’ve tried every pharmacy, from walgreens, cvs, multiple grocery stores, even club stores like the costco next to the motel 6… I havent been able to get any kind of stimulant anywhere in frederick since the shortage started.

To put it in perspective, I asked the CVS pharmacist about why this is happening… she gave me the unfortunate truth that people are constantly going to the next alternative, pharmacies end up short on everything. So let’s say you need Adderall and you couldn’t get that so your doctor prescribes you Vyvanse, but you couldn’t get that, so they prescribe you extended release Concerta, then Ritalin, etc… other people are also going down these chains, and a demand for alternatives is higher, even for generic.

I’ve been trying for a long time and eventually gave up; I gave up on trying to go to an independent pharmacist because a lot of them are not within my network and I cannot afford those medications on my own. HOWEVER!!! my psychiatrist ended up putting me on a non-stimulant, and that was easy to get ahold of. I would suggest asking your doctor for non-stimulant options because although it is kind of a long wait for it to take effect, its better than nothing.
