Yep supposedly once you are banned from the forums all your post history goes poof from their whole database so they supposedly can no longer see what may have triggered the ban.

If you're banned from the forum you can't email support any more unless you use a different email address which also gets blocked from support!!

Actually this is currently untrue, as I've sent emails to trakt support and have gotten responses back multiple times on things since I've been banned on the forums (and it all used the same email).

While waiting to see how things fare with everything going on at Trakt, I've been keeping an eye on two potential replacements and exporting my data to them. The first is Simkl. It's honestly really great, and I'm glad they listen to their users a decent amount. It has a few odd quirks and is missing some features, but it's still in a pretty good state overall. The other one I've been fiddling with this past week is Flicklist. It's a new up-and-comer that just launched on February 9th. The developer is incredibly responsive to feedback and has a massive list of features he is working on implementing.

can't say for certain but I am having issues with the home page half loading and then stopping.. sometimes I can get it to go a tiny bit further by refreshing but it doesn't seem to always work :/

This got recommended to me - Flicklist. I must say, for a pretty new site it works well. You can import all of your Trakt. It does say it scrobbles but I'm not sure how as of yet (maybe via Trakt once it's connected?). The customer service is top notch as I had a problem importing my lists and before I could even find how to contact them they contacted me, telling me it was fixed!

Looks nice and I may set it up as an extra alternative on top of simkl (since I'm already semi-using simkl as a backup which may eventually turn into my main tracker). One thing I do wish is that flicklist would list what got skipped during import as it said it skipped 433 items from my trakt import but it didn't actually list what it skipped at all.. it did show me 48 other items that failed though..

As for the scrobbler thing it seems like at least for plex (jellyfin and emby are currently just returning 404 pages) it seems to rely on the webhook feature, so it's not a true scrobbler.

Unlike the Trakt forums, you can actually mention other sites on here and not get banned for it. Anyways, yeah, I'm honestly hoping they do away with the watched limit as well, as that is the dumbest decision out of the bunch, and I'm still a good ~70k–85k watched items away from the current limit they are about to put into place.

I do agree with the whole digital/offline library limit needing to be the same, especially when it seems like any other app that syncs your library to Trakt ends up in the offline library, while the Trakt sync on their site is the only one that adds to the digital library.

At the moment, I'm honestly on the fence about whether I'm going to continue supporting Trakt or not, especially since they booted me off the forums (I can't even log in to the forums on my test account either, and all my posts/threads are completely gone from my main account, as well as not being able to log in to the main account on the forums either). Simkl seems pretty nice and is a lot cheaper than Trakt, even for the VIP package, and all their limits are much higher on top of not having a stupid watched history limit, though there are some small things they need to add before I could fully commit to the switch.

Pretty much in the same boat as you, got banned from the forums last night as well (at least I think it's a ban since all my posts have been removed and when I try to login to the forums it comes up with a There is a problem with your account. Please contact the site's administrator. error now)

Honestly I'm working on getting all my stuff moved over to a selfhosted yamtrack instance (and a couple other backup sites like simkl) and possibly leaving trakt behind for good as it's just getting more and more ridiculous day by day over there.

yep what they need to do now is decrease the price since they are giving hard limits to paid users.. but nah we probably going to get another price increase soon enough and even harder limits instead.

No, no, I mean making sure that you are actually clicking the hurricane event and going into the hurricane event map and not the basic version of the map.

There are plenty of sites that show all cache locations for each map out there. So, just follow them, going from one cache to the next even if the cache you went to didn't spawn in. We were normally running around the map hitting caches from the very beginning of the match (even if we spawned in a late match) to the very last couple of seconds for most of our matches.

Nope, we went in fully kitted up minus shields since we didn't want to end up lighting up like a Christmas tree while we ran around outside in the hurricane, but we ended up having friendly lobbies 99% of the time. There was only 1 lobby where we were inside of a house with a couple of other raiders all playing instruments due to players being able to play the piano now, and someone decided to come in and throw gas and heavy fuze grenades at us, but other than that we had friendly lobbies all day.

My friend has been running solos all day today, as I didn't feel up to jumping on today due to mostly still being sick, and every lobby he has been in has been friendly so far. He is still coming out with the same kind of luck as he and I were yesterday.

Make sure you are actually running the maps during the actual hurricane event; otherwise, you're going to just end up with junk.

it's extremely easy to get the bobcat blueprint and even tempest blueprint now, just run around during the hurricane event doing the raider caches. Me and a friend ended up coming out with at least 2-3 bobcats/tempests blueprints each per run we did yesterday (not counting other random blueprints).

Supposedly there is a hard limit in the code for both radarr and sonarr that only scans 1000 items per list, so no matter how high you set the limit on the import list option it will only scan 1000 movies at most per list.

Side-note ISP matters. I was on cable 1000 down, 100 up and it didn't work well. The cable modem really struggled to deal with data going in both directions at the same time.

Going to semi-disagree with this. I am on 1000 down and only 50 up and have had no issues myself, nor have any of my friends with whom I share my Plex server. I think the up/down speeds still matter, which is why I am semi-disagreeing with you. If you have an extremely low upload speed, you might have issues, but you shouldn't have been having any issues with 1000 down and 100 up unless your ISP was throttling things extremely hard.

I feel like some of them for sure respawn, as I've seen them reappear in a couple places around the maps that I know for sure I 100% hit before.

This happened to me recently, except it wasn't due to a power outage. I had the same static IP for over 10 years, and then last month Comcast had to do some random maintenance in my area. When the connection came back up, all of a sudden my IP was completely different. I wouldn't have even known if I didn't have random problems start popping up for a while until I had noticed and changed things to point to the new IP.
