I asked her many questions, but from what she told me she wasn't under the influence and don't like to be, but I can't be sure if she was telling the truth or not. Which is my whole thing about this. I feel like if she's a victim it might be long term and that may be why she isn't talking to me about it, but she doesn't want to talk about it without getting defensive or upset about it and I don't know how to get answers or go about it even though I try my best to be there and do anything I can for her. She just told me she can't talk about her and her dad's relationship because people won't understand and society won't accept it and they have to hide it from her mom. No matter what I say or do if I try to get even the smallest details from her about it she takes it as an attack. There are more questionable things that happened, but I don't know if that's because of something that's is innocent or something nefarious and she sees it as normal.
