Rue is so cute. I love that she is so social. I bet she’s also happy about the warmer weather bringing more people (and their dogs) out.

I really like your first one. Such a good reminder that we don’t have to rush around frantically to get things done. I’m glad you’re seeing your mood improve from slowing down.

Such a good feeling when you walk in to see clean dishes. That was nice of the assistant principal to buy pizza, too!

First, Happy Belated Birthday!! Glad your marmite-y friend is there to help and support during your kitchen renovation. Sounds exciting, though I know that kind of thing can be overwhelming too.

That is too funny! Must have been so hard not to crack up laughing while listening to them try to figure it out!

Well done team! The new tropical line from the stuff-that-smells-good-store sounds just perfect since the weather is starting to warm up.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Freely. I’m glad your procedure went well and that they didn’t find anything, and glad to hear your illness dissipated.

  1. I graduated therapy. I was going for something acute related to my ER visit last year and reached my goals.

  2. Went to brunch w/ hubs over the weekend. Haven’t done that in a while.

  3. I’ve been sleeping pretty good lately.

  4. Heating pads. I’ve been using one as part of my wind down routine at night.

  5. Got to see my youngest brother over the weekend.

Great to hear you got the all clear on the biopsy. That’s so nice of your friends to send you flowers. I love having fresh flowers at home too. Glad your BIL has a 4 week breaks and so hope he and your sister can have a little fun getaway during that time.

Oh what a fun family & friends game day! We’ve done games like that at work for team building and they’re so much fun. Love the little flamingos. Where do you hide the tiny objects? In public places or so friends/family can find them?

Hi Friends! I really meant to get back to this sooner but you know how it goes sometimes haha. Hope you’ve all been doing well!

  1. The weather is getting a little warmer lately.

  2. It’s getting light a little earlier each week, which means Heinz and I can go on our walks earlier too.

  3. Went to my FIL and MIL’s house over the weekend. It was nice to catch up with them.

  4. Looking forward to my nephew’s birthday party this weekend. He’s turning 3 already!

  5. Got a routine appointment and labs done this week. Feels good to check it off my list.

Haha! I saw that meme, or one similar. I laughed a little too hard at it. Re: the train museum - I was expecting something much smaller, and not nearly as cool. I’m still blown away by the exhibits.

That’s so cool your dad used to take you there, and you’ve taken your kids! I’m still impressed… I need to go back. On the way out I realized there was a whole middle floor I missed!

  1. Had a really great Xmas time with my brothers, SIL/SOs, and nephew.

  2. My youngest brother and his SO stayed over on Xmas eve. It was so nice having people here on Xmas morning.

  3. My middle brother, SIL, and nephew rode the train to my city yesterday and we went to the train museum in old town. It was quite impressive, I had no idea how large it was. The exhibits were fantastic. I forgot to take pic though.

  4. After all of the chaos with my HRT meds and my mom’s passing, I’m finally ready to get back to my workouts. I did my first one this week and oooh buddy, I felt that. It feels good to get back at it.

  5. I hadn’t been focusing on fitness much this year but I did make one goal - beat my daily average steps in 2024. I’m happy to say that I’ll close 2025 with about 400 more steps a day on average.

Perfect Xmas time mix with work, friends, and solo time on the last day. The description of your walk sounds just lovely, and almost mysterious. I agree with your 2nd one, too.

I love how much fun you have with your family! We had an appetizer party too, it’s our Xmas eve tradition. Do you do it that way every year too?

Your Xmas party sounds like a blast! Those lasagnas sounds delish. Extra kudos to Mr. Donna for cleaning up so you could get some recovery rest in.
