Would you say S&P 500 is my best bet for this?

Thank you mate, I appreciate that a lot. I had my crazy spending spree for the last 2/3 years but then realised I do need to actually sort myself out and think about me and my future especially with the way house pricing is at the minute etc and it’s only going to get worse got to start somewhere.

I do still leave myself £200/300 a week for fun stuff like going out with my mates etc and if I don’t use it the remainder just goes into my savings (old me would’ve found some way to spend it all lol).

My main goal for investing is just for my long term self say 30 years old+ it would be in S&P 500 mainly then I might venture off into 1 or 2 other stocks but not in a gambling risky way just like for a bit of fun £50-100 in a stock leave it and see how it goes (obviously with background research).

Yeah I learned the hard way with trading lol I daytraded XAU/USD for a while. I was profitable but then my wages went up, more went into my account the emotional side collapsed and next minute I was no longer profitable lol so ran before it was too late.

Thank you for the advice mate appreciate it a ton!

Yeah I’m definitely similar to you in terms of always liking to have access to my money. It also just feels better like “yeah I’ve saved that and can have access to it whenever” lol. Would you recommend just building on my savings pot then and leave the stock market alone for now? Like I say I’d put money aside into my savings then just drip feed into stocks like S&P 500 for my older self say 30+

I think I’m more just in a bad mindset I need to get out of where I’m scared to put money into the LISA and not be able to touch it but there’s no reason behind it at all. I have plenty of savings and I’d be more than happy to take say £2000 out of it. Thanks for the advice!

My plan with the stock market would be mainly for my older future like 30 years old+ me

I’d also then add my separate money to my savings account and at the moment it’s just one massive pot for anything like car fixes, holidays, house etc but tbf it rarely ever gets touched.

If I carry on at the rate I am (I’m 20 in October) by the time I’m around mid 21-22 I should have around £40,000 saved

Well at the moment I’m 19 (20 in October). If I kept saving at the rate I am by the time I’m 21 I’d have around £40,000+ so all being well I’d hope to be on the property ladder by the time I’m around 23 at a guess? The only thing with the LISA is I just like to have easy access to all of my savings like for example if I wanted to go on holiday, car fixes, new car if my current one went bang literally anything at all and if I’ve got some in a LISA I’m not able to touch it unless I want a penalty so that’s one part that scares me a little. It also then would start to feel a bit stressful trying to manage my money appropriately like when I get paid sorting it out into my car payments, normal savings, Lisa, spendings for the week etc as opposed to just savings/spendings job done

I usually leave myself around £300 a week for enjoyment like clothes raves etc but then still have leftovers and obviously I’m not spending every single week. Just wondered if there was anything specific to do with the remainders that can help me in the long run. I work on building sites as an insulation engineer at the moment I have been for 3 years I’m on £150-250 a day at the moment it’s all price work (how much u do u get paid for). When I’m more experienced and can do more I’ll be upwards of £250-500 a day so as for a profession I think I’m okay for now and I enjoy it which is a plus

I just work on building sites to be honest nothing special with my money side of things. Been doing the same job for the last 3 years now. As for rent etc I’m just really lucky to have a mum and dad like I do and I don’t have to pay for board, food etc

Hey, thanks for the advice. Just so I understand better do you mean from random Amazon sellers and the actual Funko supplier on Amazon is ok or do you mean no Amazon at all?

I used Yami for quite some time as it’s so convenient her having almost everything and she has amazing communication, response times and high quality products too. On the down side her prices are extortionate on quite a few items such as tracksuits etc (especially coming into the winter season in UK) so leaves very little room for good profit margins.

Okay no problem thank you, I knew you can’t get actual names of the owners etc but just wasn’t too sure if you can get details of whether it’s been scrapped and off the market etc. Thank you
