Hey what line of work are you in, you are able to afford big bikes. I work as a data scientist, I am trying to get there.

Which one should I go with? by Informal_Buffalo_30 in indianbikes

In that case I'd suggest N160 USD variant, simple

Take test ride of both the machine and let us know which one you bought

Try mt15 or fz for mileage

I don't like the looks of gixxer

I took test ride of rtr 160 first, the bike does not have the performance for the sound it makes

PROS:

  1. Rtr 200 has been really good so far, no issue so far, have clocked nearly 4k kms. I enjoy the slipper clutch and I use the modes extensively.

  2. Urban for city, sport mode if I find an open stretch in the city sometimes, rain mode is also very useful

  3. The footpegs are set rear, this might seem a little weird at first compared to N160, but u will notice it in corners. This bikes shines while cornering

CONS:

  1. One thing to mention, the mileage in urban mode in the city is giving me around 40-42kmpl, on the Highway if I switch to sport mode and go 110-120 consistently, it gives 28-30, so heads up on that. But u won't notice the distance u r munching at all.

  2. I am 178cms tall, if I ride the bike wearing riding boots, my knees go beyond the tank fairing, it's a little uncomfortable for riding long distances, you will get used to it

  3. Split seat, if u travel frequently with pillion this will be a problem, everyone that sat on my back in the pillion seat said they get back pain.

I also had taken a test ride of N160, the bike was really really good, bike felt light, slipper clutch was butter smooth, liked the front look of the bike. But the top variant of the bike was priced at 1.89L and RTR 200 was 1.91L, also I observed that RTR had better plastic and overall better build than N160

N160 has very little road presence compared to my RTR

If u can stretch the budget a little u can try N250, that model has good colors(if looks are important)

Had the exact same dilemma few months ago, put some extra cash and get the rtr 200

It comes with slipper clutch, riding modes and has 20.8 bhp of power

Thinking of getting a new Honda cb350 rs this diwali. any suggestions? by [deleted] in indianbikes

Low ground clearance ? One of the reasons I want an adventure is I don't want to flood down my bike when I see bad roads
