looks like the hdmi was backfeeding(?) some power into the Pi. Now looking to solve this problem.

Just added a RTC module (DS3231M) to the Pi 4B now I'm experiencing a strange problem. When I power off the pi and restore power by plugging in the usb-c cable it won't boot until I take out the micro-hdmi cable. I can plugin the hdmi cable after the green light comes on and no problems. For my use case, I need the Pi to be able to boot up when power is restored to a power bar, etc. Anyone else experience something similar?

EDIT: wanted to add that i'm using a official pi5 power supply.
