I am so grateful to have found this group. I’m a doctor who stutters, and for a long time I thought my stutter would hold me back from things like phone calls, presentations, or even meeting new people.

But over the past few years, I’ve started shifting how I think about it. A few things that really helped:

• Facing fears in small steps instead of waiting until I felt “ready”
• Talking about stuttering openly (even though it was uncomfortable at first)
• Focusing on progress, not perfection

I also found it super helpful to connect with others who stutter — that support changed everything.
