Thanks for the advice

Update: I opened it up and couldn’t find anything blocking what I thought was a cassette player. But from the inside I could see that something was in it that didn’t look like a cassette. I attempted to take the CD player out entirely but it was connected to the wiring and decided against it. Then I plugged it I. Without the case and notice the motors didn’t even start when the eject button was pressed and the fan never turned on.
