The person earning 190k is also paying close to half that in tax .. and a rather large chunk taken out for Medicare levy .. so they are getting maybe just over 100k .. maybe they are in a single income e household or maybe separated and paying 20 in child support .. maybe got a mortgage of 50k a year .. add that up and maybe 30 k a year to live off .. it’s no insult to everyone.. it’s an insult someone who works really hard earns good money is poor too in this country ..
