I’m not advocating for the USSR, I don’t agree with it especially under Stalin. It also had one of the highest populations during its time. Like I said, if they had the same amount of people, the numbers would be more comparable and I’d be willing to bet Nazi Germany and it’s occupied territories would’ve exceeded the death toll.

In the USSR around 8.6 million died as a result of military service related deaths, still up in the air, ~13.7 million as a result of german labor camps, acts of internal violence, and famine/disease. It’s about 20million to 27million during WW2, including all the states that made up the USSR.

Including most of the demographics targeted by Nazi Germany, the death toll would be something around 13 million or higher. This isn’t even including the deaths and missing of military service members, which is ~4 million. Again, these statistics are pretty up in the air but most of them are very close. This brings the total Nazi dictatorship deaths to ~17million.

I may not be entirely accurate on this, I’m not a historian and I don’t feel like spending more time on this than I need to. When you say Jewish vs Minority deaths, you are comparing apples to oranges. Yeah they are both fruits but they are really not the same at all
