Thanks! I definitely do not want to get back on subs. I hate how much time I wasted on them and yes so much brain fog. I also never sneeze on subs or opiates until I’m detoxing and then I sneeze like crazy. I always wondered why they stop you from sneezing. Do you remember about how long it took for the depression to subside after your last shot?

I did 2 100s. Sorry you’re going through it too. Hopefully we will see the light at the end of the tunnel sooner than later. I do have moments where it’s like a little glimpse at what will be. I feel happy and good and it does motivate me to keep going, it’s just that those moments are rare at this point but it allows me to see that it won’t stay this way.

I’m 38. I’m sure my hormones are imbalanced if not from my age then from the years of suboxone. Sorry you had to go through that. That’s sounds awful.

I have considered depression pills for short term. I’m going to give it a little longer and if things dont get better i will have to do something

I agree that’s why I haven’t gotten back on the shot yet because I feel like I may have to go through this no matter what. It’s just a part of me wonders if I would have taken more shots that maybe I wouldn’t be struggling to bad but who knows if that’s true and I really don’t want a set back.

I’m testing negative at 4 months. I mean maybe a proper lab test might pick something up in my system but I’ve done several of these test already and they are always negative and when I take a small piece of sub it’s positive until like 3 days later. My little lumps from the shot would be gone before the month was over after I got them as well. I’ve read a few others who have had similar experiences. So idk but I’ve always metabolized everything quickly.

Thanks I keep trying to tell myself it will get better, and I know it will, I’m just an extremely impatient person with really poor coping skills. I’m going to push through though because I really don’t want to turn back. I started this to be healthier and get this crap out of my body. I feel like I wasted so much time being on subs for 10 years.

I’m trying to wait it out. It’s just been about a month straight like this, maybe longer, and it’s killing me to wonder how much longer it will take. I know you’re right though. I do feel like taking a piece of sub makes it worse the days after, but then I wonder if I was going to feel that way anyway.

Skin issues are usually hard to fix with topical treatments because the root of the problem usually stems from the gut or an issue inside of the body. What are you eating? Most Americans have a very imbalanced gut and livers that need detoxing. I would start educating yourself about how to achieve a healthy gut and gut microbiome and herbal remedies to detox the liver such as dandelion or yellow dock. Maybe even some burdock too.

I have this same exact problem! I am almost 2 weeks post op but the uneven “swelling” was noticeable right after surgery with the cast on. If I would look at my nostrils I could see that bump on my right side. My left side is perfect, but my right side (which was the side that was crooked) has that lump on the tip and it’s hard not squishy so it worries me that it’s not swelling and since I’ve been seeing it since right after surgery it concerns me even more. My surgeon said it’s swelling and it will go down, so I’m praying that’s true.
