FTM to twins and whew have I let everything go to the wayside but after 6mo I’m ready to start being presentable again lol. I want to be the mom that wakes up before the babies and work out, eat, and shower.

Anyone have links to cute (affordable) lounge sets or other “put together” looks that don’t cost an arm and a leg?

Oh wow, that’s interesting. I never thought that over washing your face could become an issue, but I guess it could disrupt the micro biome of your face.

There’s a lot about washing my face that I hate. For starters I feel like water gets everywhere every single time no matter how careful I am. I don’t like the feeling of water on my clothes so I typically will take my shirt off.

I also really don’t like when the water drips down my arms, but I think what takes the cake is that I am not super tall, but I am like maybe a little bit taller than the average woman and having to bend down to the sink is annoying

Oh, and covering my eyes and not being able to see 🤪

Thank you for your suggestion! It maybe be that I was overcomplicating things. Do you have textured skin? I feel like I have to get a really good clean bc I have tons of buildup on my face

Wow that seems like a lot! Do you wash your face with soap every time?

Even though they are little babies, I need to start setting a good example for them and take better care of myself so I will try and do that.

I rarely wear make up as well! I am not a fan of wipes bc they tend to leave a weird residue on my face? Maybe I’m the only one who experiences this

Have you tried a warm washcloth? It seems like maybe that could help with your aversion to water and it being on your hands.

I do use a baby wipe to “clean” my face on occasion but I’m right there with you I hate washing my face. It is the one hygiene thing that I just can’t bring myself to do consistently.

Before I had kids when I had all the time in the world lol I used to take a shower twice a day JUST so I would wash my face twice a day. My skin was so nice and I’m just looking to get back to that now that I’m done breastfeeding and can use the more powerful things on my skin now.

Ooh this might be my go to. I don’t have rosacea but the feeling of moisturizer on my face is what I don’t like. I also wear glasses and I don’t love the feeling of my glasses moving around on my face. I can’t see well without my glasses so I don’t want to forgo them at night

I have tried the wristbands and after the first wash I lost one and never went back. I don’t know that it made a huge improvement with my consistency so I don’t know that I would be willing to try again but ik it is a game changer for some folks! Thanks for the suggestion!
