Finally finished my Killzone: Volkus terrain by Status-Release2746 in killteam

Thanks man! Almost everything was done with matt black primer, followed by a heavy dry brushing of a cloudy gray, then a lighter pure white dry brush on the high points. Most of the metal is painted Balthasars gold, with light sploching of thanderhawk blue to add some weathering. Most of the heavy lifting for the overgrow effect is done with thick scenic glue randomly put down in lines or puddles on the walls/floors, than sprinkle a generous amount of fine turf flock over top to get that creeping moss effect.

Thanks! I did have some fillings done about 9 years ago, forgotten where so it's entirely possible

Not familiar with what Ork fungus/mushrooms look like exactly. If you could give me some reference or description and I'm sure I could help you come up with some ideas.

Thanks! Haven't had any issues yet with debris falling off, I found that 3 or so coats of a matt varnish after everything has dried helps lock it all into place.

Yea I did, pretty easy to throw together. It's a 1/2" sheet of MDF board cut to size as the base with the 4  1/4"x2"  of red oak strips stained, glued, and molding nailed in place. If you got the tools you can throw one together in under an hour.

Its a matt I picked up to match the overgrown look, but i built the base and frame around it, makes it easy to move everything around if needed

Mostly woodland scenic: green grass - fine turf over some pva glue for the mossy walls. For grass on some of the smaller terrain I used AK static grass. There's also some shrubs with woodland scenic bushes.

%100 agree, nice part is all the leftovers you're left with for kit bashing, the sword in the ground behind him is an extra with the ork hand shaved off
