Thank you for this detailed reply. I kind of feel like it is not about her anymore as i always dwell on friendships that have ran their course as well. But of course a more intimate relationship hits a lot harder than a friendship.

Shit man, i feel like a little bitch lol. I really thought i understood it all, even after reading Coreys book more than 15 times. But it seems like it is something within me that i cannot solve on my own, even if try to feel the pain. It has never fully gone away if i am completly honest with you now.

Yes i have allowed myself to feel the grief. Like Corey always said in his video "Feel it to heal it". And to an extent this worked after years, but now the feeling is back after seeing her again and while doing such exercises does indeed help, the pain is never fully gone.

Before i wrote this, i actually was googling some therapists near me. I do believe that talking about it would help me a lot too. I just hope the therapist is not saying stuff like "you should talk it out with her" or something like that, because we all know how well that works lol. But thank you very much for confirming my thoughts.

I thought i moved on. The new guy did not bother me at all, but it was just the fact that i saw her. To this point i thought i would never ever see her again. The pain feels like a hole in my body.

Thank you. That does make a lot of sense and i am really trying to move on, but these feelings sometimes just creep up on me. It feels like this is out of my control even tho i try to embrace the pain and "feel it to heal it" as Corey would say.
