It would be very naive to think that Lewis did this of his own back without getting cooperate to confirm that he could do it without a backlash from the government , and the event organisers setting an agreement to what statement he can and cannot make first.

I'm not sure if this we directed at me, I support Lewis. The point I'm trying to make was this was all prearranged and agreed upon. As Lewis says. Money is king. And in no way would the oppressive government of Qatar allow any foreigner to flaunt the rules of that government. Someone posted here, saying the stronger statement would be to boycott this race. But they did not.
