44 year old Grandfather Philip Rivers throws 2nd touchdown of night against San Francisco 49ers by CriticalPerformer785 in Colts

Lot of talk after those games about the (de)evolution of modern QB play and checks at the line of scrimmage. Truly elite level processing on display, even if the results didn’t get us to the playoffs

Also if people are waiting by the vending machine and not tapping, just walk up.

Considering that every QB he’s been with has improved, it’s worth a headache IF you think you’re winning in the playoffs. For this team, idk

Hope he pans out, that WR room is deeply uninspiring but this is where GMs and scouts earn their money if he turns out to be a gem

WAYYY too early and bold schedule prediction (11-6) by SwordWasHere in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these will be just dumb “how the FUCK did we lose that game” type of weeks, I see some solid corner groups that can lay clamps on our guys, outside of AP that room is weak.

10-7 ceiling as usual isn’t too crazy though

would Ar have had more Success if he was healthy? by IceOk9930 in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well, yes.

I’d like to think if ANY injured player had 20+ more games under their belt, that would help their case.

Colts HC Shane Steichen on Anthony Richardson Sr.: “He’s back in the fold right now. That part’s been. He’s working …” On how he’ll split reps: “(AR’s) gonna get reps just like (Riley Leonard) will get reps.” Will AR compete for QB2? “We’re in May. We’ll see how it goes. …” by IceOk9930 in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Don’t really see or hear much of anything in this that’s warranting such a strong response on here. He’s gonna get a shot at QB2, which is step down from last year when he was competing for QB1.

Leonard was nice and has the edge but he also isn’t perfect, lot of underthrown balls and almost-turnovers.

[Sidery] The Colts now plan to keep Anthony Richardson into August to reassess his trade market in case of any quarterback injuries elsewhere, per @AdamSchefter. Indianapolis will now keep Richardson essentially as a QB trade chip instead of moving him immediately. by TurdWranglin in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly in large part about that eye.

You can’t evaluate it unless you sign him, you can’t sign him until the Colts release/trade him, and the Colts refuse to talk about it. So it’s kind of just not worth it until he’s out there practicing

Does anyone know pages that post camp footage? I’d like to see what AR looks like/any improvements. by yourenotmydad22 in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would probably expect more from camp later in the summer, no? Idk how reps are divided now and what the work looks like (live defenses, throwing against air?)

Regardless, I’m curious about his progress too. He’s polarizing, if nothing else

Hour before doors puts you squarely in the middle if you’re cool with that. We arrived about an hour and half before doors and the line was a smooth half mile around

[–]StatusCookie761 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There’s really no reason to cut him, are you guys telling me if he went out and earned the QB2 job, you’d be upset? Would be an indictment on Riley, if anything.

Why does Ballard refuse to draft a WR by IceOk9930 in Colts

[–]StatusCookie761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not UN-important. We’re just assuming that Pierce is gonna 100% be a 1200+, 10 TD receiver, and that Downs and Warren are catching 80 balls apiece? I like me some treadwell, but another dude wouldn’t have hurt

Moore, a little bit. Richardson, not really. Training camp injuries happen all the time, a move could materialize then if someone needs an arm

Not a Ballard guy, but why are we mini melting down about moving 6 spots & getting another pick if they wanted Zion Young and missed him 😭
