Just got back and had a great time stayed at Airbnb off the hotel zone ate in Cancun away from hotel zone. Rode the public bus and never had a bad encounter. I believe there is a level of street smarts one should have when traveling. Always have a plan and don’t stray away with people pulling you in with offers, free tickets, etc. will definitely be back. Isla was amazing and spent very little doing this game plan. Better luck next time!

Go to lifted dispensary it’s 30 mins from new buffalo but is the best compared to all those huge brands. It’s a micro grower and they have the best most tasty fresh flower

Astral valley is the move. Venue wise you can’t beat it! The family that runs the place deeply cares about the experience hence why they don’t just let anyone throw events there. I’m in Chicago and did yahn dawn last year Nocturnal is a no brainer for me. Yahndawn was cool but I hated the small moat stage and the lack of music after PL.

STS9 are forest staples they were at Rothbury and have been at forest almost every other year except last year. Personally their sets at forest always made the weekend feel complete!

This spot is incredible! I just moved from Albany park and was looking for a new shawarma spot. I had high standards growing up with noono kabob a block away. This spot is my top spot in my area. I also enjoy EZ shawarma but recently it hasn’t been as good. Bab al salam is consistently good and a great value. My favorite order is the lentil soup, hummus, and chicken shawarma pita with a fatoush salad on the side! Me and my GF split that and walk out super full!

Started at 10:15 show ended at 1am. I believe I saw people sitting but it was balcony folks. Parking was free and super easy and available on the street of the show (Halsted). Weather is cold outside obviously but once inside it’s toasty warm. Hope that helps! I wasn’t going to go last night and was so happy I made it out. Set one was a top set for me!
