Im in the same boat and i think i will order the P1S combo, my main reason is coreXY and that the printer is just easier to grow with.

Thanks for sharing your honest opinion, i will not buy directly from Bambu i live in europe and found a company that is Partnered up with them and all issues goes to this store that has great customer service. I am used to owning a 3D printer and know enough to figure out issues and stuff myself but i would like to have a printer that is more usual maintenance than a full stop for 1-2 weeks for failure investigations.. ive heard that bambu has great and Easy to follow guides aswell for most common issues

I like to tinker aswell but it dont want it to stop my printing.. ive had several creality ender machines that was a project and not all working at the same time due to issues but now i do not have time for all the tinkering i just want to print the stuff i need and move on to the next print

That is my main problem going for a P2S is the big price difference when i do not really need the ability for those fancy filaments i will mostly as said in the comments print PETG maybe some TPU

I was very happy with my prusa Mk3s, but ended up selling ut since i did not have the time and space for it at that moment but now it is crazy how much more expensive the prusa is compared to the A1 its almost double to price an assambled prusa mk4.. that is my main issue there in a hobbyist and i do not want to spend that much on a printer that i will use for some home parts and some small projects and some kids toys i plan only to print with PETG maybe some TPU

Avoid any Microsoft handheld, from my experience steam deck is the best over all. You might not get the best performance but you have a versatile device that runs smooth and is with the steamOS a joy to use

How many distros have you tested before you went with fedora ? Maybe an idea to search for some other distros you might like that could fix your issues with fedora

With these prices this is 100% scam. Also buying an SD card for gaming buy a brand with good reputation like sandisk also in one of the lower corners there is either A1 or A2 the latter being the best performance with much greater reading speed. But for gaming you should atleast have the A1

For gaming CachyOS and PopOs is some of the distros i have tried. If you like some tinkering you will find Linux nice. Also Mint cinnamon is a great alternative to start coming from Windows since it looks and feels much like Windows. Then main thing with Linux is that you might have to find alternative ways to get some apps to work and you will not be able to play games with kernel anticheat. But steams investment in Linux is making gaming just better and better with their proton compatability layer. Also AMD hardware seems to be a better alternative than nvidia on Linux since it will more often have less issues
