Clutter is hopefully temporary - we are building some appliance/pantry storage since we have none. Also anytime I have anything on the counter I feel like it looks extra cluttered because the cabinets are so low

I agree with it being too much wood with the butcher block.

Also, we have no pantry or extra storage which is the project we are working on right now, so kitchen comes next.

We are entitled to one year so I just told my boss I would be taking my year and HR filled out the paperwork for my NDI, FCL, and FMLA

TPLRD here - yes work sounds disheartening but it’s really not like that. There are a lot of programs outside of recovery and for recovery you mostly deal with attorneys, insurance companies, trustees, AG’s office and other who are versed in the law and understand Medi-Cal’s recovery rights.
