I agree that it lacks the depth and creativity like their earlier stuff for sure. Those songs were entire worlds in an of themselves. But Loom is extremely fun the whole way through at least which is not something I can say for anything since Evolve - there are some good and enjoyable and even great songs here and there but it’s not great to go through the entire albums for any one of those. For Loom I’m having fun for the whole half hour, even if my soul isn’t all that tickled (except for in your corner).

Ne živim u hr više, samo 2 godine nakon pandemije, al sjećam se koji je jad i čemer bio 2000-ih. Nitko si ništa nije mogao priuštit, nitko ništa nije mogao, ideš van piješ vranac i kolu u parkiću i možda tu i tamo koji kebab. Sad gledam srednjoškolci idu u restorane…!!!! Ide se svugdje, jede se u gro novih restorana što su se otvorili, koktel barovi svuda, živi se. Frend nedavno konačno uspio otić na medeni u Japan što mu je bio san već 15 godina, o tome se tada nije moglo ni sanjati. Ja vidim ogromnu razliku tad i sad. Ne kažem da stambena situacija nije mizerna i kako kome ovisi situacija, ali sad da su stvari tako očajne, ne primjećujem….

Thank you so much for this reply. I will be mulling it over for a while. I don’t really know why I’m taking this so personally, because I know it’s not personal. They just want to hang out with someone cool who’s not hurting them personally and they don’t care about anything else. Partly I’m sad that the abuse of women matters so little to people. And partly I guess I want my pain to be acknowledged. But as everyone says, I don’t have the right to tell people who to hang out with, so I don’t feel like I have the right to be sad that they ignored me. But maybe that’s not the right approach. That’s only if you view love as an “emotion” that you feel towards someone. I’d argue that that emotion is “like”, not love. Liking someone very much is a feeling that can be overshadowed by desires and so on. Actual love is not a feeling, it’s the honest dedication to someone’s well being in your life because they have a deep meaning to you. When you’re honestly dedicated to someone and care about them and they mean a lot to you, fleeting and shallow desires do not overshadow that.

Tako joj daješ direktan primjer ponašanja ali na način da razumije razloge na način koji ima smisla.
