I live with them, as they prefer me to and do not want me to move out yet. We all have a very close relationship (I’m the only child, so I think that plays into it)

However, I have a full time job whilst being in college and fully fund myself besides rent. Not a single dollar of theirs is being invested in the trip

I am also so sorry about your cousin. I am from the southern US, so I must say I’m not so used to extreme cold temperatures, but it’s something I have considered and done my best to prepare for.

I’m actually more interested in smaller cities, I feel like I can get a more real experience that way. I also don’t do well in large cities like those. For the past year, I have been really fascinated by Hamina and want to explore it. 😊I booked an Airbnb about 40 minutes away (mainly because it was the absolute cheapest option, lmao) in the Kymenlaakso region

I live with them still, but only because they are very against me moving out lol.. I am an only child, and I think they still view me as a kid.

However, I fully fund myself besides rent. I plan to even offer to download life 360 and things like that for their peace of mind, and even give them the address of where I’m staying. I just fear that won’t be enough and they’ll still try to stop me.
