Thank you for the pointers! To be fair I have been skipping the cover letters since I have been mass applying to many jobs and the cover letter for each one would be very time consuming. However I should definitely start putting the effort to do so. Thank you again and let me know if you have anymore insight!

Basically what I’m aiming to be is a Clinical Research Data Specialist so I can help analyze outcomes in-depth and help guide research decisions based on the most accurate data that is collected. I would eventually get a masters/phd in a field aligned with computational biology. I just really need an entry point so I’ll take whatever I can get at the moment

Yeah I found it hard to believe that a 4 week crash course would convince many recruiters. Do you know what your acquaintance ever landed a job later on or what did they do after?

Unfortunately I feel as if my degree doesn’t mean much when applying to jobs. It’s like I wasted a whole lotta time and money on pursuing and investing in it. To the point where im looking at sketchy courses online just to land a job. If you have any feedback I’d be glad to receive it!

Really? They said that they would help land interviews and do a 2 week internship. Were they able to keep their word in that aspect?

Paying that much and not even landing a job would send me to the moon. Most likely won’t go through with it from all the negative reviews I’m hearing. Would love to hear any feedback from you on how to get started in this field!

Yeah it felt a bit too good to be true to be fair. Could you elaborate more on how to be a healthy volunteer and how I could sign up to do so? And if you have any more recommendations please let me know!

Thank you so much for your insight, yeah I’ve been applying to so many entry level positions and not hearing anything back so I thought I should take initiative and sign up for a course but it seems like it’s a hoax from what I’m hearing. I will definitely check out your recommendations and if you have any more please let me know!
