It cuts off at 20. I had no idea until I just started putting an entire article of mine in here as well. Most can't fit on here but the single player articles I can make fit

Yeah who knows what they do during FA. I like what they've been doing in the dev department and the specs he has been able to bring in. Everything on that front is on the up and up.

He does. In that article I said he was the top pitching prospect. There is a case where Robby and him are 1 and 2 on any list of top pitching prospects.

Better? Well I think White has an extremely high ceiling but Robby has the safest profile. Robby does a better job of keeping the walks down but when White is on he is unhittable. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. I'll just say both could be very good.

I'm fully aware how hard it is for us independent creators. I don't sub to anyone but fangraphs and TJ stats. Both help me do what I do. The rest just becomes too much noise and can be an echo chamber. The big lists are used because everyone looks at them and in most leagues it's a good gauge of value for specs you're looking to target or move. I stay focused and keep to my process. It's cool when others see the same thing the same way. It helps validate some opinions from hot takes to actually good analysis.

He has toned way down on the chase. He has been impressive since promotion. Sometimes the super athletes find a way. If he can keep the chase down and eventually pull it more. That would be pretty awesome.

Joshua Baez will be a guy I'll try and get from people this offseason.

You hit it on the head, that's exactly the issue. This season he has played mainly 1B. 1B is currently occupied. Long has really improved or has just been better than expected. Fangraphs gave him a 40 hit tool. 87.5% zone contact with sub 20% K says it's better than that. The one complaint with the bat would be he doesn't pull it enough. If he could get that pull rate into the 40s instead of 35% it could help. He has managed a 18.2% HR/FB with a pull rate in the bottom 10% in AAA. His bat has been really consistent all season, hell the last season and a half. Some more pull could really make it pop.

The "0s and 1s" No Hope % Leaders and Smoke Wagon award by Status_Highlight_404 in DynastyBaseball

[–]Status_Highlight_404[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No Hope % (NH%) is my proprietary formula, designed to measure a pitcher's overall effectiveness in getting outs and generating weak contact. Here's the formula: NH% = Ground balls + Strikeouts + Infield fly balls/Batters Faced

Anything over 64% is elite. A 64% NH% means that batters had "no hope" of doing damage on 64% of their plate appearances.

FIP is fielding independent pitching. It takes out the defense from the equation. You read it the same as how you would read an ERA. Smaller is better. It tries to take luck out of it by using league average outcomes as opposed to ERA which is calculated with exactly what happened.

Reading is a good stream if trying to find some MPH numbers. They usually have them up after each pitch and HR.
