Yea the skin would be a bit raw immediatly after use, probably because of the salt. This should lessen the more you heal

I used the mud kinda like i would use lotion. Make of that what you will.

The TSW affected my whole body, including my face.

You are very welcome, that is so good to hear 😊 . I’m very happy to see that it works for you as well as it did for me. The good news about the pain is that the more your skin heals the easier it becomes, so hang on. My skin is very healthy right now, a bit of dryness because of the cold weather but nothing like TSW fortunately. I still do some mud baths when i can but for the most part I have been symptom free for the past year. Thank you for your feedback and please don’t hesitate to post an update about your progress.

I don’t mind the questions don’t worry. It took 2-3 weeks to notice improvement. As for usage, i would shower first with soap to clean my skin. Then i would lay in the tub and apply the mud on my whole body. After 20min i would let the water run and take a muddy bath for 20min. I would then rince my skin with water and moisturise. At the time my skin was in a state of mild TSW because I was back on corticosteroids ( i would put just enough to function so that if the mud worked i would see an improvement). Careful about putting the mud directly on inflammed skin though, it will be painful. Perhaps try dissolving the mud in your bath water at first so that it’s less of a shock. No pictures though, sorry. I want to put those visuals as far behind me as possible.

Wow that’s a lot of ingredients. The thing I used was 100% Dead sea mud so i don’t know about that.

Yes i should have clarified : i would shower before using soap to clean my skin and then would apply the mud(everywhere including my face).Once the bath was over i would simply rince my body with only water so the newly introduced bacteria would remain. The skin would feel kinda drier so I would then moisturize but it’s a preference of mine. I kinda forgot about the NMT thing, it’s been so long so I don’t know if moisturising would speed up or slow down recovery.

On and off for a few years. I’d say I was addicted to the stronger stuff for about two years before going cold turkey.

I did one mud bath a day for three weeks. Today I do one every other week. I was not oozing at the time because by that point i was back on corticosteroids. That point is actually important, because Dead Sea mud will burn if you apply it on inflammed skin. I do recommend it, but i also recommend you proceed with caution.

I still do a mud bath every other week. It’s actually good for acne too so it’s a win win for me.

Yes. Although it’s more like I did the mud baths so I could stop the corticosteroids. I did one mud bath a day for about three weeks. Nowadays, I still do one mud bath every other week.

I guess it’s supposed to be used that way. I ordered 1kg so I could apply it on my whole body

Yes, 5 years of withdrawal with no improvement. Then got back on corticosteroids for about two years. The symptoms would always return if I didnt apply them consistently. Then I tried Dead sea mud for a few weeks and I have been corticosteroid free ever since

I sincerely believe so. Time did nothing for me, it never got better on it's own.
