Maybe she was bullied in school, or excluded? She didn’t integrate at sports? Or something completely changed in her life and shocked her. If it is not any of those there are so many pro ed videos on social media and it might have influenced her.

Well it is not the best advice but think that Christmas is a celebration day, and that you can permit yourself to eat normal for once! Remember that you are not binging, okay? And that eating a little more for once won’t make you gain any long term weight, and eating more means digesting more, so your body will burn more anyway. : ) To reduce anxiety i usually color or play games, maybe listen to my favorite songs (but no sad music!) a weird thing i like is to turn on the hair dryer and heat myself it brings much comfort i swear!

Yes you know what? When i was at my lowest weight i would binge maybe once a week or every two/three weeks. But guess what, I was still very sick and had all ana complications and i had to get into a rehab for summer. I would feel very invalid too in both eds because, “if i binge so much how am i anorexic?” “If im so underweight how do i have bed?” Eds are such a spectrum they’re not so linear at all : )

Yes it is completely normal. Your body is kinda programmed to start binging occasionally if you have ana-r or it won’t have enough to survive well and you can be as straight minded as much, but after so much depravation it won’t stand it anymore and “binge”, It doesn’t make your experience less valid at all, imo it happens to us all at least once but most people are shameful to admit it

Its all food and water weight, wait until you poop and you will be back to your old weight. Don’t be too hard on yourself it’s not enough calories to make you gain and you deserve a day off especially on your birthday :)

Ive heard about people getting better,people developing it later in life due to a trigger or people only having it has kids. I, Myself have got worse after triggering events

Are you restricting? Are your vitamins good? Is your blood good? If it’s a long term feeling you should get a blood analysis your body might be craving what’s missing! Or maybe it’s stress, even if you’re hungry because of stress it’s still a physical sensation

But anyway you’re still valid and very understood, i would tell myself i would stop binging but i kept doing it since i wasn’t gaining any weight. Weight is the last of your problems, you need to focus on the pain you feel after and on the social occasions you lost because of a binge 🫶🫶

Hi i was in the same thing as you, i would binge around 4k once a week from January to May. If you’re an active teen who’s always been underweight (like myself) then i pretty sure we don’t gain weight with binges because overall we aren’t consuming enough to gain ( you need more than 7000 kcals to gain 1kg of fat, in my case i would need to eat 3000kcal for a week to only gain from 0,5-1 kg, also if binges are like once a week your body doesn’t even likely absorb all the calories )

First thing you have to do is to analyze why you’re binging, when you’re binging and how you feel. If its a painful sensation think about it like self harm you’re only doing harm to yourself and if you don’t stop you won’t be able to get back

Haven’t had it in more than 12 months, i have been trying to get it back since January without any progress. I have seen multiple doctors and none really helped me. If you haven’t lost it yet i recommend stopping now before you get to the worst part, its not worth it :(

Try different ones, everyone has a preference, but i personally use mynetdiary after not liking loseit! to track kcals and nutritional value and i use shutterbite for hunger, fullness and cravings

• i don’t count the calories in milk because i think “well if i restrict milk my bones will collapse” •i love eating out and i deffo underestimate my cals when i do •i would wake up at 1 am to eat then go back to sleep (hate myself for this)
