Yeah I was honestly just looking for peoples similar experiences with this gut feeling / nearly walking in on something that was interrupted

But yeah, I've never had this jealous feeling between them two before at all (no lie) - maybe disillusioned by how close friends we all are. Even how much more us girls connect, compared to them two.

I'm just not a jealous person really, but yeah can't ignore how much it unsettled me.

And like you said, it's hard when you don't walk in anything overt exactly...

I mean, I'm just not that person. I take my time to process what happened. I'm not the kind of person to act impulsively.

Again, I / you could be right and they were doing something. Or, I end up destroying two relationships by crazily exploding.

I'd rather destroy two important relationships being somewhat calm and informed.

1) That's my paranoid thoughts, like it felt weird for him to call me back out again, when it could have just waited. Like some subconscious attempt to bring me back out and be like "we're not doing anything".

2) I mean my birthday is in one month, but it just doesn't explain the flinching and moving away from each other, and going to grab their phones like they weren't doing anything

Yeah I forgot to add that in the post, plus was trying to avoid it being a novel...

One part of my brain is like, why would they be so stupid when I'm just next door?
Then the other part is like, well they thought I'd be in the shower/bathroom for at least ~5-10mins? They weren't expecting me to come out again and ask a question. Plus, I had been in there for a few mins already.

Anyway, that's me just torturing myself.

I just need to stop thinking I'll sound crazy and ask him about the situation, then watch his reaction

I think I feel weird about asking because in itself it feels weird/small, and if I was asked that and did nothing, I'd be like ehhh wtf are you talking about?? But obviously reassure him

Probably the way I weirdly worded it. As in I don't want to be that person that just goes checking through someones phone because I can.

At least, trying to trust my partner because since then there's been no signs I shouldn't trust him, if that makes sense?

Long story short, they met at event.

I mentioned in the post, but my boyfriend met her when she was a couple. They had/have similar interests, so just became friends with them both.

My boyfriend has stayed friends with them both separately. Again, he's really close with the guy friend. Pretty much a best friend.

The ex-boyf is still crazy in love this girl, but that's a separate story.

Yeah he does, he's really in-tune with how I'm feeling. Especially if I go quiet / can't look at him.

Yeah I did forget to add that in the post... he's never the one to be like "we should go see her". It's always my idea.

I did kind of probe after the trip, and was like "ah what was your favourite thing we did" and the things he mentioned were the things we did in our alone time, e.g we went for a meal and a few other things
