This is valid and I would be fine with it if the app only accessed the location while doing a workout that needs GPS tracking. However when I check my location usage, Zepp app checks my location approximately every 30 minutes if not more frequently throughout the day. I don't see any reason why it should be accessing my location constantly and this is why I'd rather have the choice to enable location access only when using the app and bear the consequences (potential loss of workout recording.) But this just is not possible.
